The packaging of the beach towel proved to be functional and well thought-out in the test. It is attractively designed and makes a high-quality impression as soon as it is unpacked. The towel is packed in a cardboard box that provides sufficient stability during transport. Inside, the towel is also shrink-wrapped in a transparent plastic film , which protects it hygienically and keeps it clean. While the product protection is impressive thanks to the double packaging, a plastic-free alternative for the inner packaging would be desirable from an ecological point of view. In addition to the towel, the scope of delivery includes a practical drawstring bag for travelling. Separate instructions for use are not included, but all relevant care instructions are noted on the label on the product. These are easy to understand and sufficient for everyday use. Overall, the packaging offers reliable protection, an attractive design and a neat scope of delivery – there is only room for improvement when it comes to sustainability.

In the practical test, the beach towel showed a balanced performance across several evaluation criteria. The water absorption was positive: The microfibre structure absorbs moisture quickly so that the body can be dried off quickly after swimming. The material remains surprisingly dry to the touch, which makes it even more comfortable to wear. The drying time is also a clear advantage over conventional cotton towels – the towel dries in a short time in direct sunlight and is quickly ready for use again even with moderate air circulation. The material also made a good impression in terms of skin friendliness. It feels soft and does not cause any skin irritation, even on sensitive skin. The feel is slightly synthetic, which is common with microfibres, but does not detract from the overall impression. Another practical aspect is the low weight. The towel can be folded up compactly and stowed away easily – especially in the drawstring bag supplied. It remains manageable even when wet, which makes it particularly suitable for travelling. After several washes in the washing machine at 40 °C, the material proved to be colourfast: the vibrant colours and patterns remained intact and there was no discolouration or structural changes. This speaks in favour of solid workmanship and good material quality.
