In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the insect spray produces a very fine spray mist that is very easy to spread on the horse. The spray also has a pleasant smell and the effect lasts for a long time. In our test, there were no annoying insects to be found in the sprayed areas even after more than two hours.
It is easy to use, but the instructions for use state that special protection is required, e.g. gloves, face mask and goggles.
The natural ingredients are positively emphasized, although this is a biocidal product.
However, the ingredients are contained in such low concentrations that there is normally no danger to the horse. Due to the official approval as a biocide, it can be assumed that the product and its active ingredients pose no danger to the environment when used properly.
To summarize, it can be said that the insect repellent for horses from CHEVALIS left a very good impression.
