Test result preview
The electric cool box from Juskys offers a practical and everyday cooling option for longer trips where conventional cool boxes fail. In our test, the product shone with a maximum temperature range of +-20 °C. In addition, the connection principle with a 12V and a 230V power supply is impressive, meaning that the box can be operated both in the car when travelling and at home at the socket.
Unfortunately, as expected, we found that it takes much longer to cool the box to the desired temperature when connected via a 12V connection. In practice, it is therefore advisable to operate it from a conventional socket beforehand.
Nevertheless, we consider the product to be a useful addition for camping trips or longer excursions.

- Various sizes and colours
- Temperature range from -20°C to +20°C
- 12V and 230V plug
- Eco mode
Disadvantages
- No differentiated temperature controller
- Long waiting time for 12V operation

Packaging and contents
Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The electric cool box from Juskys arrives in a compact, brown cardboard box. Inside is the cool box wrapped in bubble wrap. The cardboard box is robust and looks more than sturdy. The bubble wrap also prevents transport damage caused by pressure or impact, meaning that the product is fully protected. A more sustainable and plastic-free alternative might be desirable here.
The box itself contains an information card on the product’s energy consumption and instructions for use in various languages. These are clearly worded and provide a good insight into the functions of the product. Overall, the packaging makes a promising impression.

The first time you touch the cool box, the product is definitely impressive. Visually, the cooler comes in a mix of anthracite and grey. The design is rather simple, but at the same time appealing and modern. The control panel is very clearly laid out with two switches and an LED.
The overall finish appears to be very neat and of high quality. The surfaces and edges are all rounded and smooth. There is also no chemical odour, which underlines the quality of the product.
As a result, the stability of the product can also be described as very good. At first glance, no weak points or defects are noticeable. The walls of the cool box appear robust.
There is only one point of criticism when it comes to sustainability: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any more detailed information on the manufacture of the product, so we can only assume a long service life and therefore sustainability in the broader sense due to the high-quality appearance of the manufacturing process.

The most important components and features of the electric cooler are put to the test in our practical test. Overall, the product is thoroughly convincing, even if a few minor points of criticism can be identified.
We rate the handling as pleasant overall and attest that the product is easy and safe to carry. At the same time, we have to note that, in contrast to the rest of the cooler, the handle is somewhat thin and flexible in our opinion. In our opinion, the handle bends a little too far when carrying a heavy load of glass bottles inside, but this only limits the otherwise functional product to a certain extent.
Overall, we are also satisfied with the cooling capacity . When connected to a 230 V socket, the appliance quickly reaches the desired temperature. At the same time, however, we found that the required waiting time is much longer when using a 12V plug. For actual operation, it is therefore advisable to cool the appliance at the conventional socket beforehand so that the 12V power supply only has to maintain the existing temperature. However, we are satisfied with the overall performance in both cooling and heating mode. A more differentiated temperature control might be desirable, as the product can only differentiate between hot and cold and between eco and normal mode.
We consider the noise generated by the product during use to be reasonable. The appliance can be operated during the day without any problems. Operation at night is also possible in principle, but due to the continuously running fans, the box should be operated at a certain distance or, if possible, not directly at the sleeping area.
Our verdict on the aspect of vibration and stability was consistently positive. The box is stable during operation without any recognisable movements.
Cleaning the box is also relatively easy. The plastic interior can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and, if necessary, suitable cleaning agents. Of course, the box should be disconnected from the power supply and the electrical parts in the lid of the cool box should be left out.
All in all, the product impresses with its practical functions and only has minor flaws. We therefore consider the electric cool box to be a useful addition to any outing.

Price/performance ratio
and ratings from consumers
Finally, we analyse how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also look at the consumer reviews and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.

Points
On the Amazon platform and other sales portals, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.5 stars. In some cases, the fact that the full cooling capacity is only reached after a long time is criticised. On the other hand, the various connection options using the12V and 230V plugs are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the cooling capacity has a rather conservative effect, especially in 12V operation. Nevertheless, we find the options for operation in the car via a 12V plug to be just as enriching as the consumers.
Prices of up to €99.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €49.99 . The Juskys electric cooler is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of €57.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
