Test result preview
The “Rome” hard-shell suitcase set from the manufacturer Juskys is a functional and modernly designed travel companion. In our practical test, the individual suitcases stood out thanks to their 360° swivelling and quiet wheels as well as their durable and robust construction. The four different sizes of the set offer maximum flexibility in the choice of luggage, so that the perfect size is available depending on your needs. At the same time, the suitcases can be stowed inside each other for storage, so that space can still be saved . With six different colours, Juskys also offers a suitable solution for almost every taste. In our test, the only point of criticism we found was the high strain on the zip when the suitcase is very full. Nevertheless, the suitcase set achieved a very good rating overall, which is more than deserved.
Advantages

Packaging and contents
Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The hard-shell suitcase set from Juskys arrives in a large and sturdy cardboard box. Inside are the four cases, each individually wrapped and nested inside each other to save space, so that the packaging is as compact as possible. Product protection is fully guaranteed, but the plastic film used seems almost superfluous, even if it is intended to protect the product .
Other waste is avoided in the interests of sustainable packaging. The scope of delivery of four cases is complete. The product does not come with instructions for use. However, this would also be superfluous as the product is basically self-explanatory to use.

The hard-shell suitcase set from the manufacturer Juskys also cuts a fine figure on closer inspection. All four cases in the version presented to us are in a modern anthracite colour, which is complemented by black handles and zips as well as silver accents. The design is harmonious and appealing.
A detailed inspection did not reveal any defects on the surfaces or fasteners, meaning that we experienced a very good and clean finish overall. We also found no weak points or pressure points, meaning that we can also attest to the cases’ excellent stability. The manufacturer is only criticised when it comes to sustainability. No further information on production is given here, so we can only assume sustainability in the broader sense due to the high-quality materials and the resulting supposedly long service life.

In our practical test, we examine the individual components of the cases in detail and carry out various load tests. Overall, we experience a clever and robust product that performs very well apart from a few minor points of criticism.
The telescopic handles are made of aluminium on all cases and reliably withstand the specified maximum loads. Only the smallest of the four suitcases has a handle that is a little too short for our 1.85 metre tall tester to push comfortably and without bending. However, stability is not affected in any way.
The mounted castors are particularly noteworthy. These can be rotated 360° on all suitcases and are relatively quiet thanks to the soft plastic construction. In our test series, we found them to be smooth-running, very flexible and generally commendable. Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out a long-term test on the durability of the castors.
The fastening mechanism is the same for all suitcases. A double zip in combination with an integrated combination lock offers a reliable and largely secure mechanism. At the same time, however, this is subject to high loads when the case is very full, which is why a slightly wider expansion joint would certainly be helpful here. Apart from this, however, the volume and interior layout of the cases is sensible and practical. Thanks to the four different sizes, the set offers the right suitcase size for every journey. The storage straps and the inner divider with mesh panelling also offer a practical way of organising the suitcase for everyday use.
Finally, we analyse the stability of the hard-shell cases. In our practical test, the product was also convincing in this respect. The ABS plastic case shells provide reliable protection against pressure and impact damage, which can quickly cause unpleasant damage when loading a suitcase. Compared to an aluminium case or a harder plastic, this case is of course inferior, but such models are also significantly more expensive and heavier.
In our opinion, the manufacturer Juskys therefore offers a classic all-round product at a more than fair price.

Points
On the Amazon platform and other sales portals, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.5 stars. In some cases, the case shells are criticised for being too soft and yielding. On the other hand, the elegant and functional design and good manoeuvrability are praised. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the elegant and functional design is well received by customers. We also found the castors to be flexible and quiet. As described in our practical test, we can only partially understand consumer criticism of the case shell.
Prices of up to €179.80 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €119.75 . The hard-shell suitcase set from Juskys is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of 129.99 €. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
