When their children are playing, riding a scooter, or trying out a skateboard for the first time, parents’ main concern is their safety. The Kidiyana children’s protector set aims to address this concern by offering reliable all-round protection for knees, elbows, and wrists. The set consists of a total of six protectors and is designed for children aged two to fourteen, depending on size. In our test, we used the size S version (two to six years) in purple. The manufacturer combines a robust PP hard shell, shock-absorbing EVA padding, and breathable materials to combine protection and comfort. The set comes in a storage bag for easy transport and storage.
Our test aims to show whether the Kidiyana protector set actually delivers what it promises in everyday use – in terms of protection, comfort, workmanship, and handling.

The Kidiyana protector set arrives compactly packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, which already contains the practical storage bag. All protectors are neatly stowed away and additionally protected by packing paper. This ensures that the product is fully protected. We were impressed by the fact that unnecessary plastic packaging was avoided – overall, there is very little packaging waste, which is a clear plus in terms of sustainability. The scope of delivery is complete: it includes two knee pads, two elbow pads, and two wrist guards, neatly sorted in the bag. There are no other inserts or instructions, but this is not a disadvantage. The product is completely self-explanatory, so instructions for use do not appear to be necessary. Overall, unpacking the product leaves a neat and high-quality impression.

When you first touch the Kidiyana protectors, they give the impression of being high-quality and child-friendly. The design is available in a total of four colors—blue, green, pink, and purple—each combined with black elements. This gives the pads a modern, friendly look that is visually appealing to children. In our test, we used the size S version in purple.
The workmanship makes a very good impression. The seams are neatly finished, and there are no sharp edges or material defects. The PP hard shells appear sturdy and durable, while the padding underneath is pleasantly soft. Overall, there is a good balance between protection and comfort.
The material used feels robust and inspires confidence in the product’s durability. Although the manufacturer does not provide any information on sustainability or the origin of the materials, the solid workmanship suggests that the set is designed for long-term use and will not need to be replaced after a short time. The elastic straps and Velcro fasteners appear to be of high quality and are easy to use. The entire set makes a well-designed, sturdy impression and seems well suited for regular everyday use.

In practical testing, the Kidiyana protector set performed very convincingly overall. The fit was particularly impressive: the combination of elastic straps, Velcro fasteners, and sleeve design ensures that the protectors sit securely without slipping or cutting into the skin. The padding is comfortable against the skin and adapts well to the body shape, which significantly increases wearing comfort.
The material quality makes a solid impression. The robust PP hard shell offers reliable protection in the event of falls or contact with the ground, while the EVA and PE foam underneath effectively cushions impacts. Repeated putting on and taking off did not reveal any weaknesses in the seams or fastenings. Another plus point is the breathability: small ventilation openings ensure that excessive heat does not build up under the pads. Although these do not completely prevent sweating under the pads, especially during sporting activities, they remain comfortable to wear, even during prolonged use. The pads are designed to be child-friendly. Thanks to their well-thought-out design, the pads are easy to put on and take off – even by children themselves. Adjustment is intuitive via the Velcro fasteners and does not require adult assistance. The set is easy to care for: although the pads are not designed for machine washing, they can be easily cleaned by hand. Overall, the Kidiyana protector set impresses with its good protective effect, comfortable fit, and well-thought-out design – ideal for active children in everyday life.
