General information
We took a close look at and tested the product in a practical test. In the following, we take a closer look at the features and impressions. From the packaging, materials and quality to the range of functions and handling, the product is subjected to our test procedure.

At first glance, great importance is attached to product protection and packaging. The leak protection was packaged in a precisely fitting cardboard box, which ensures optimum securing and protection of the product. With regard to the sustainability of the packaging, it was found that the instructions for use of the leak protection are shrink-wrapped in a transparent plastic film. This film serves as additional protection against soiling and damage during transportation. However, we are of the opinion that this film can be dispensed with as the product packaging is already sufficiently robust. Overall, however, care has been taken to avoid unnecessary packaging material.
When we opened the box, we examined the contents and were satisfied with the scope of the packaging. In addition to the leak protection , the packaging contained an Allen key and instructions for use. The inclusion of the assembly tool is highly commendable.
The instruction manual has proven to be very useful . It is very detailed and beautifully illustrated. The detailed instructions make it easy for the user to apply the leak protection and ensure optimum use.
Overall, we were impressed by the first impression of the leak protection in terms of product protection, packaging, package contents and instructions for use. The careful packaging, the extensive contents and the detailed instructions are evidence of a high-quality product presentation.

The leak protection is cleanly and carefully processed and sewn, making it tear-resistant, stable and durable. The seams are particularly fine and soft. The material has a pleasant, even and balanced feel. The straps, which are attached to the dog, are flexible and robust. The product was developed in cooperation with German vets and is made by hand from high-quality materials in the rural parts of North Rhine-Westphalia. The lick leak protection is supplied pre-assembled and consists of a neck strap, a longer torso strap, 2 coated aluminum strips and a hexagonal wrench for individual adjustment of the harness. The harness is placed around the dog’s neck, the aluminum strips are guided along the sides of the dog and fixed with the torso strap at the end of the ribs. If the dog now tries to reach its rear torso area, it pushes the strips in front of its hips through the turning movement and thus pushes them to the side. It is therefore not possible to reach the affected area . They are comfortable to wear.

Kleck leak protection keeps its promises. Kleck leak protection is a compatible and comfortable alternative to standard funnel protection. It improves hygienic well-being and helps the wounds to heal as well as possible . We have tried it out: In contrastto the funnel, it is possible for the dog to move around without any problems. With the patented product, the dog can eat, sleep and play as usual, unless the treating doctor recommends otherwise. It is also very comfortable to wear . The soft seams and the material make it particularly comfortable and pleasant. The neoprene is lightweight and easy to care for. It is particularly soft and thin to maintain the comfort of the lick protector. The dog’s coordination of movement is fully maintained. As the lick guard is available from the manufacturer in a wide range of standard sizes, it can be flexibly adapted to individual dog needs and is therefore suitable for all dog breeds . The flexible and robust straps on the lick guard prevent it from slipping and keep it firmly in place on the dog. In the case of chronic or recurring illnesses , the Kleck lick protector can also be worn over a longer period of time due to the minimal restriction of the animal. The lick protector was manufactured in North Rhine-Westphalia. All in all, Kleck lick protection is a health-promoting, sustainable and highly recommended product.
