The INVERNO beanie from Nebulus made a very good overall impression in our test. The knitted hat is unisex and available in one size . It is available in a choice of four attractive colors. The hat has a wintry two-tone design. The hat is ideal for head sizes from small to medium. Unfortunately, it only fits a little tightly if you have a larger head circumference. Nevertheless, the knitted hat adds a stylish touch to any outfit and is an essential accessory for fashionable heads. In winter, it also keeps you pleasantly warm on cold days.

The INVERNO hat from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The box was also optimally sized and filled to the brim. This helps to protect the environment, as not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the transport vehicles are also better utilized. Inside the box was the INVERNO cap in its product packaging. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the INVERNO cap was packed. The film is tear-resistant and not stretchable. The Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker on the packaging with a barcode and the product name and size of the cap. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. The bag has an opening at the top, which is sealed with an adhesive strip. If the bag is returned, it can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. The INVERNO cap is very well protected from damage and soiling by the shipping box and the plastic bag.

The INVERNO cap does not require any additional accessories and is supplied without them. On the label there is a cardboard disk about the size of a beer mat, which is printed on both sides with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.
There are no instructions for use , but they are not required. Cleaning instructions can be found on a label on the inside of the cap, where they are represented by familiar symbols. Information on the material composition of the INVERNO cap as well as the size and product name can also be found there.

For our test, we received the INVERNO beanie in red and black. In addition to the navy blue shade, Nebulus also offers the beanie in white/black and navy/white. The red and black color combination gives the hat a timeless look. The hat is knitted from fine threads. The lower part of the hat is characterized by a two-layer knit that has been carefully sewn and folded over. This special finish gives the hat not only an extra layer, but also an attractive look and a high level of comfort. As a color contrast to the basic color, the hat has a wintry design with lettering showing the manufacturer’s name Nebulus and the Norwegian flag. This patch creates an interesting visual effect. As a special extra, the hat has a bobble made from knitted threads.
The fabric of the hat is thick, slightly stretchy and tear-resistant. According to the manufacturer, the hat is made of acrylic. The seams are all evenly and neatly finished. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any at all, they are only very short. Apart from this, there are no other processing faults to be seen on the hat. Overall, the INVERNO hat from Nebulus is a fashionable accessory. The quality of the materials used and the neat workmanship of the seams are impressive.

The one-size-fits-all design of the INVERNO cap allows customers with different head sizes to wear it. Furthermore, as a unisex product, the cap is equally suitable for all genders. This is undoubtedly an advantage, as there is no need to select a specific size. However, our male tester noted that the cap was a little too tight and therefore felt slightly uncomfortable. However, it is important to note that this can be subjective and depends on individual preferences and head shapes. We would still wish for a second size. The fit is good for women with an average head size.
The material feels comfortable on the head. The knitted fabric keeps the hat very warm. The ears are also well protected. The INVERNO beanie is therefore also suitable for particularly cold winter days.
In the last part of our practical test, we washed the knitted hat according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the INVERNO hat, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable items of clothing. After washing, the hat smells of the detergent used, but otherwise no differences can be detected.
All in all, the INVERNO hat performed well in our practical test. It fits our tester comfortably, feels pleasant on the skin, keeps her nice and warm and also withstands washing without any problems.
