The versatile range of applications includes precise measuring and cutting of fabrics. The booklet with its many explanations is particularly noteworthy. With its ergonomically shaped handle, the rotary cutter sits particularly comfortably in the hand when cutting and cuts through several layers of fabric with ease. It is ideal for all sewing, patchwork and quilting work. Aligning the fabric, securing the fabric with the clamps and cutting are smooth and efficient. Replacing the blade was also quick and easy. The generous A3 size of the cutting mat ensures comfortable working. This cutting mat protects the blades of the rotary cutter and the work surfaces. The special material of the cutting mat is soft enough to protect the blade. At the same time, it is firm enough to prevent deep cuts.
Thanks to the size of the cutting mat, even larger sewing jobs can be cut comfortably on it – making it ideal for hobby cutters. The cutting mat can be washed with washing-up liquid. Due to the nature of the material, the cutting mat must not be exposed to direct heat radiation. During use, care must be taken to ensure that the cutting mat lies flat. The versatility of the rotary cutter set is demonstrated by its range of applications, from sewing projects to handicrafts . The grids, cutting lines and angle markings on the front and back make cutting with the rotary cutter child’s play. On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.8 stars. One common complaint is that the patchwork ruler was difficult to handle and read. Many customers like the fact that the fabric stays in place and can be worked cleanly and easily with the lines and the included ruler and rotary cutter. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the rotary cutter set was easy to use and that the ruler took some getting used to.
