After the practical test with the laser sword from Goods+Gadgets®, we found the following.
The light effects and the sound of the sword are not entirely convincing. In particular, the flickering of the sword instead of a constant glow is very irritating. The sound quality is not good, it sounds very tinny and mechanical.
The vibration function of the sword, on the other hand, is very good as it conveys an authentic feeling of laser power transmission.
The weight and balance of the saber was found to be comfortable, especially when used with both hands. This contributes to the fact that the sword fits well in the hand and conveys a realistic fighting feeling.
The handle of the sword is generally comfortable, but could be a little unwieldy for younger players due to its thickness, which could make optimal handling difficult.
The lighting effects and sound of the sword cannot be customized, but this contributes to ease of use as no complex settings are required.
