The LUMEFIT running light is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box that protects the components well. Inside, a custom-fit plastic tray ensures that the running light and strap system are held securely in place. Fortunately, unnecessary packaging materials have been dispensed with – only the plastic tray could be replaced by a cardboard alternative in the future in the interests of sustainability. The product itself arrived complete and undamaged, including a USB charging cable.
There are no traditional instructions included, but this is not a disadvantage: the running light is virtually self-explanatory, and all important information – such as charging time, battery life, and light modes – is clearly printed on the packaging. Even at first glance, the product gives a high-quality impression: the materials appear sturdy, the strap is neatly sewn, and the lamp is solidly mounted.
It is positive to note that LUMEFIT focuses on a clear and simple presentation. No exaggerated advertising, but a focus on functionality and quality. Overall, the running light makes a very positive overall impression when unpacking – well thought-out, securely packaged, and ready for immediate use.

As soon as you put on the LUMEFIT running light, it is clear that emphasis has been placed on design and functionality. The model is available in four colors—black, yellow, green, and red—and impresses with its modern, sporty look. The workmanship is impeccable: seams, buckles, and plastic elements are neatly finished, and the light housing appears robust and durable.
The material of the chest strap feels pleasantly soft yet durable. It is slightly stretchy and adapts flexibly to the body without cutting in. The strap can be easily adjusted to different body sizes, so that both slim and larger runners can find a good fit. The entire system appears stable without being bulky – a successful balance between support and comfort.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any information on sustainability. Nevertheless, the rechargeability of the battery and the long service life of the LED lamp contribute to a certain degree of environmental friendliness. In addition, the running light is a durable product that can be reused for years. Furthermore, the manufacturer offers a satisfaction guarantee with purchase, so that customers receive a full refund of the purchase price if the product does not meet their expectations.

In practical use, the LUMEFIT running light impressively demonstrated its strengths. The light output is excellent at 500 lumens and ensures even, wide illumination of the running path. Both the normal (50%) and full (100%) modes worked flawlessly. Especially on dark trails or in the forest, the light provided a clear, bright view of up to around 50 meters – ideal for safe running at dusk or at night.
The battery life was as specified by the manufacturer: around three hours at full power and up to six hours in economy mode. This makes the running light ideal for recreational runners and evening runs. The water resistance was also confirmed in the test. Neither rain nor splashing water impaired its function – even the control buttons responded reliably when wet.
The stability of the strap system was impressive when running. Only during extreme jumping movements was a slight wobble in the fastening noticeable. The chest strap can be adjusted widely, fits comfortably, and distributes pressure evenly across the upper body. Even during faster movements, the light remained stable, hardly slipped, and did not interfere. Overall, it was very comfortable to wear – the low weight and elastic material meant that the light was hardly noticeable.
Even after prolonged use, the impression remained positive: no wobbling, no readjustment necessary, and the materials showed no signs of wear. In summary, the LUMEFIT running light is a well-designed, powerful, and comfortable safety accessory for anyone who wants to stay active in the dark.
