In our test, the HIKING leather winter boots from the Nebulus brand proved to be the ideal companion for everyday winter wear, leaving a very good impression. For our test, we received the boots in black and size 43 for men and in light brown and size 38 for women. They proved to be very comfortable and the quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the boots in the practical test. The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment : not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimised, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilisation of the transport vehicles. The warm lining is beige navy wool. The leather used on the surface of the boots makes a robust impression. The laces are set in sturdy metal eyelets and therefore do not rub directly against the fabric of the shoe. The sole consists of several layers in different shades of black and grey. It has a deep tread pattern.
According to the online shop, the upper is made of 100% leather, while the lining is made of 100% merino wool. The sole is made of rubber.
Thanks to the hard-wearing materials, the boots are very torsion-resistant and stable. The seams are also neatly finished and tear-resistant. Sizes 36 to 42 are available for women. The boots offer enough room for the toes and are comfortable to wear. The stiff sole ensures that sharp objects do not penetrate the foot. Overall, however, the winter boots are comfortable to wear, even during long walks or winter activities.
