Ventilation windows provide pleasant fresh air on hot days, while the integrated UV protection provides additional protection from the sun and the lock protects against light rain and quick theft. The generous amount of space creates enough room and privacy for two to three people. The compact folding size and low weight are also particularly praiseworthy. Overall, this beach shell offers a perfect combination of comfort, stability and mobility – a must-have for beach days or outdoor activities.

As part of our practical test, we tested the lockable beach shell in detail and documented the results using the specified test methods. The product impresses with its simple assembly, which can be completed in just a few minutes with five poles and ten pegs. Stability is guaranteed by the pegs supplied so that the beach shell stands securely even in a light breeze. At the same time, the ventilation window provides pleasant fresh air. Measuring 270 x 120 cm, the interior offers plenty of space and privacy. The optional lock protects against light rain and quick theft. The product also offers UV protection in accordance with standard 801 and protected storage space for personal items. The beach shell can be folded up compactly and is easy to transport thanks to its low weight. Cleaning is also straightforward, as the wipe-clean surface and quick-drying material make it easy to care for. Overall, the lockable beach shell offers a good mix of comfort, protection and user-friendliness.

On the other hand, the quality, the design and the spacious size are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm the positive points. However, we were unable to understand the criticism.
Prices of up to €65 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as € 20 . With a price of € 41.90, the EXPLORER lockable beach shell is therefore currently in the middle price segment. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
