The integrated 500 ml water bottle is practical when running, although the bottle compartment is a little small for larger models. The vest impresses with its adjustable one-size-fits-all design, which can be flexibly adapted to different body shapes. Three zip pockets offer sufficient storage space for valuables, keys or snacks.
The only negative aspect was the chemical smell on delivery, which disappeared after the first wash.

The LUMEFIT running vest makes a very good impression at first glance. The product was delivered clean and undamaged in a sturdy plastic shipping bag with a press-seal closure. The vest and water bottle arrived without any visible damage. The bag gives the product a high-quality look with its matt white design.
The packaging is compact and functional, but it contains plastic film and a protective shipping sleeve, so there is room for improvement from a sustainability perspective.
The scope of delivery is complete as described by the manufacturer, including the running vest and the 500 ml water bottle.
The manufacturer also includes a lovely card in English with information on how to use and operate the product, as well as social media links and other contact details. This is a nice touch, but not strictly necessary given that the product is self-explanatory.
Overall, however, the product is impressive, with only minor drawbacks in terms of environmental friendliness.

After unpacking the running vest, we take a look at it for the first time. The product feels pleasantly light and elastic, as you would expect from a running vest. The neoprene material appears high-quality, durable and stretchy.
The workmanship of the product is also impressive: all seams are neatly finished, there are no rough edges, loose threads or material defects.
The product we tested was in black. The manufacturer also offers a white version. The reflective design of both versions looks modern and functional. A look at the adjustment and fastening mechanisms also shows that everything is securely sewn and the fasteners hold securely even when in motion.
Unfortunately, there is no information on the sustainability of the materials used or the manufacturing process. However, as a reusable garment of high manufacturing quality, the product offers a certain degree of environmental friendliness thanks to its durability and washability.
Overall, the feel and look of this product make it a well-designed everyday companion for runners, with quality evident in every detail.

The LUMEFIT running vest performed well in practical use. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear, even on longer runs. The four individually adjustable straps allow the fit to be easily adapted to different body shapes. The vest fits snugly without constricting or slipping. The breathable material ensures a comfortable wearing climate, even during intense physical activity. After cleaning, the vest dries quickly and is ready for use again in no time.
The vest’s water bottle pocket is functional and serves its purpose. Unfortunately, however, the pocket is a little too small for larger bottles. The 500 ml bottle supplied could be used, although it did swing around a little when full while running. It would be nice if the pocket were a few centimetres longer. The other pockets are well arranged and offer enough space for keys, a mobile phone or energy bars. The waterproof mobile phone pocket on the chest is particularly practical, as it protects the phone even in light rain and remains easily accessible.
All zips and fastening straps worked reliably. No material weaknesses or manufacturing defects were found during testing. The reflective elements ensured good visibility in poor lighting conditions.
The only criticism: a slight chemical smell was noticeable upon delivery and when unpacking, but this disappeared completely after the first wash. Overall, the product delivered what it promised. The LUMEFIT running vest proved to be functional, comfortable and well designed – both for beginner runners and ambitious hobby runners.
