The Steigner magnetic shower seal kit offers easy installation without the need for special tools, saving time and effort. Made from durable PVC material, it is hardwearing and provides a reliable seal that prevents water from leaking, preventing water damage in the bathroom. Thanks to its flexibility, it fits easily on glass doors with a thickness of 6 to 7 mm; more complex installation is required for glass thicknesses of 8 mm. The integrated magnets allow the door to close securely. Disadvantages are the limitation to certain door thicknesses and the need for precise measurements before installation. The price is higher than for very simple seals and regular maintenance is required to prevent limescale deposits and mould formation. Overall, however, the STEIGNER magnetic shower seal is a high-quality solution that impresses above all with its quality and convenience.

The Steigner magnetic shower seal set is supplied in a very sturdy and exceptionally hard cardboard box. The box cannot be bent, so that the set with a total length of 201 cm is delivered straight and guaranteed without damage. The magnetic shower seal set is packed in a thick, transparent plastic film. Brief instructions for use are included several times in the film so that sufficient replacements are available even in the event of damage. Thanks to the self-explanatory product design, installation is self-explanatory and can be completed in just a few minutes.

At first glance, the Steigner magnetic shower seal set feels like high-quality, flexible PVC should feel. It is soft, but the sealing edges are hard and stable. The cut edges are very straight, with no chipping or break-off edges, which indicates a very accurate and precise finish. The appearance of the two components is uniform and self-explanatory. There are no recognisable differences in quality. Both have the same stability and the necessary holding force to ensure tightness.

In the practical test, the magnetic shower seal set was tested under everyday and increased loads when showering. Once the two components had been correctly attached, the holding force was initially assessed. Slight impacts, e.g. caused by a hand or foot movement or a strong jet of water, were unable to separate the magnetic shower seal set, even at a very high but unrealistic distance of approx. 10 cm. No drops of water could be detected on the floor or outside the sealing area during the entire showering process. The seals are visible after installation, but blur with the glass wall due to their transparency. After a certain familiarisation period, the Steigner magnetic shower seal set is no longer noticeable. No shifting or slipping of the seals could be detected, so that all points of the practical test were fully passed.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.5 stars. In individual cases, there is criticism that the product did not fit on glass panels with a thickness of 8 mm. On the other hand, the very simple installation and lasting tightness are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that installation and tightness are guaranteed even under difficult conditions. Consumers criticise the fact that it cannot be fitted to glass panels with a thickness of 8 mm, as fitting requires increased caution.
Prices of up to €49.90 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €33.09 . The magnetic shower seal set from Steigner is therefore currently the cheapest with a price of €33.90. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
