The Neustanlo 8″bread knife from the manufacturer Marsvogel leaves a thoroughly positive first impression. The product is delivered in a classic shipping box, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The compact packaging ensures optimum protection of the knife during transport. However, an additional protective cover for the blade would be desirable to increase safety during storage and prevent possible injuries.
The sustainability of the packaging should also be emphasised, as the product is shipped in recyclable packaging that effectively protects the individual components. This demonstrates a sense of responsibility for environmental issues on the part of the manufacturer.
The contents of the package were complete and in perfect condition, which emphasises the high quality standards of the Marsvogel company. Instructions for use were not included, but this is not necessary in this case as handling the knife is intuitive and uncomplicated.

Points
On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.8 stars. One common criticism is that a crooked blade was found in a single case, which could indicate possible production fluctuations. On the other hand, many customers like the fact that it is an excellent bread knife that impresses with its sharpness and handling. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the workmanship and stability of the knife were consistently positive and that the cutting performance is outstanding. However, the aforementioned problem with the blade was not reproducible and appears to be an isolated incident.
Prices of up to €39.99 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €23.68 . The Marsvogel bread knife is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of €27.90. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
