In our practical test, we found that the heat plaster from IEA Medical develops a pleasant warmth after approx. 5 minutes, which can be felt after a short time. The maximum temperature measured was 44°C, which is below the average temperature of 53°C specified by the manufacturer. Nevertheless, the heat remained constant for over 12 hours, which significantly increases wearing comfort. The heat was particularly effective when in close contact with clothing, such as a vest.
The heat plaster is comfortable to wear and does not cause skin irritation or restrict freedom of movement. Even after wearing it for a long time , it was hardly noticeable. A particularly positive aspect was that it left no adhesive residue on clothing after removal. No odour was detected either during or after use.
The heat plaster is very easy to use . The instructions for use are clearly structured, illustrated and enable effortless application. The packaging is compact, making the product ideal for travelling. However, a higher temperature development would be desirable in order to fully fulfil the manufacturer’s promises.
The heat plaster from IEA Medical offers a practical and reliable heat source for everyday use, even if the promised average temperature is not quite reached.
