Our extensive practical test of the Meistergriff® step drill has confirmed that the manufacturer impressively lives up to its advertising promises. Drilling plastic is effortless, fast and extremely precise, even with a standard cordless screwdriver. The results when drilling metal are just as convincing, achieving a precise finish. The recommendation to pre-drill for metal work shows that the manufacturer provides practical advice. The efficient edge deburring, which makes using the step drill even easier, is a particularly positive feature. The step drill also performs remarkably well when drilling wood – quickly and extremely precisely. The flexibility of the drill bit, which is suitable for various materials and hole diameters, makes it a versatile tool . The only thing that would be desirable to make it even more user-friendly would be detailed instructions on how to use the speed optimally.
