The PRINZENTAL pregnancy milestones made a very good impression in our test. They are ideal for keeping a careful record of the most important events during your pregnancy. You can also get creative with the blank card that you can design yourself. Two or three more blank milestones made of the same wood might be desirable here so that there are no limits to creativity. The milestones are made to a very high standard from fine, finely polished lime wood with perfect engraving. The product arrives in a beautiful gift box and offers a few extras that emphasise the attention to detail: A small wooden easel is included for setting up individual milestone cards. There are also scratch cards included as a nice extra to announce the pregnancy, which can be labelled yourself. All in all, a highly recommended product.

The PRINZENTAL milestones arrived in a sturdy, undamaged cardboard box, in which they were again packed in a very nice gift box , which is even lined with fabric on the inside. This gift box was again wrapped in a plastic bag. This plastic bag might not have been absolutely necessary, but it also protects the high-quality gift packaging from dirt and scratches. In this case, the product was fully protected and the milestones arrived in perfect condition.
The packaging of the pregnancy milestones is only partially recyclable. The plastic bag is not recyclable, but the cardboard box is. The necessary warnings about the choking hazard for small children are printed on the plastic bag.

The high-quality gift packaging, which was easy to open with a bow and a light magnetic fastener, contained several items, lovingly bundled and sorted. The whole thing is very reminiscent of beautiful Montessori material for adults. Ten of the wooden milestone cards were grouped together with a ribbon: There is a pile with ages and one with special events. The promised blank card for labelling was also included. The pack also contains a small wooden easel for temporarily setting up individual milestones. A printed cotton bag was also rolled up in the box next to the wooden discs. As an additional nice idea, the box also contains a pack of scratch cards to design yourself, which can be used to creatively announce the joyous event of pregnancy. Instructions on how to use the product can be found on the flyer supplied, written in German and easy to understand. The website and the manufacturer’s e-mail address can also be found there. The postal address can only be found on the plastic film, which may be disposed of directly after receipt of the milestones. A telephone number for the company, which would have been desirable, is not given. The flyer contains a short personal message to the customer in which they are warmly congratulated on their pregnancy and the Prinzental team wishes the customer and the baby all the best . Apart from the possible addition of contact details, this is an exceptionally well thought-out and customer-friendly way to send a product.

The milestones from PRINZENTAL are very well made. The surface of the wooden discs is finely and smoothly polished. They feel really good, do not splinter and sit well in the hand. The engraving is perfectly crafted and the hand-lettering style font is beautifully chosen. The milestones are made from 100% untreated lime wood. The engraving is completely colourless and non-toxic. This makes the Prinzental milestones a very sustainable and certainly long-lasting product. The small wooden easel as a nice addition is also easy to open and definitely looks stable enough to fulfil its purpose of setting up individual milestones very well.

We really enjoyed looking through the PRINZENTAL milestones during the test. All conceivable important events and moments during a pregnancy are covered here to enable detailed and creative documentation . The material is carefully organised in the beautiful gift box with a shiny fabric lining. There is a pile with age information (1,2,3 weeks/months etc.) and one with other great events and photo sayings (my first outfit, the first ultrasound picture, I’m going to be a grandma/big brother … and much more). There is also a blank card, i.e. a wooden disc with an engraved edge but without a saying. This allows you to realise your own ideas on both sides through individual design and lettering. One idea suggested in the flyer is to attach a first baby photo to this blank card. At least one more such blank milestone would have been desirable so that creative customers could give free rein to their imagination and creativity. The milestones are made of high-quality lime wood with perfect engraving and impeccable workmanship. The attention to detail in this product is impressive. The personalised design of the scratch cards supplied is also a nice additional idea and is also well explained and described. Truly a product with a guarantee of success!

One criticism, probably from more creative customers, is that at least one more blank card to design yourself would be desirable . Many customers like the beautiful gift packaging with the bows and the lovely details and additions. The idea of scratch cards to announce the pregnancy and the nice lines addressed to the parents-to-be by the manufacturer’s team also particularly appealed to some customers. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the scope of delivery, the beautiful gift packaging and the good workmanship of the high-quality material are indeed very good and well thought-out.
