In our test, the gloves proved their worth for both fine and rougher tasks. The non-slip inner surface in particular offers reliable grip even on damp or oily surfaces. The fit was convincing in both sizes tested. The gloves offer a clean finish, a comfortable feel and a good balance between protection and freedom of movement. The material mix used appears stable and abrasion-resistant.
Weaknesses can be seen in the sustainability of the packaging and in cleaning, as the product can only be cleaned by hand.
Overall, HIWESO assembly gloves are a robust, comfortable and practical solution for a wide range of applications.

The HIWESO assembly gloves are supplied in plain, functional packaging. A sturdy cardboard box reliably protects the product, and the gloves are also packed in a transparent plastic bag. No damage such as tears, scratches or soiling was found when unpacking. The packaging is compact and fulfils its purpose, but a more sustainable solution – made entirely of paper or cardboard, for example – would have been desirable from an ecological point of view. The scope of delivery is limited to one pair of gloves. In our test, sizes 6 (S) and 9 (L) were used as examples to assess the fit in different application situations. Separate instructions for use are not included. However, due to the easy handling and clear labelling directly on the glove (size, brand, safety standard), this is not necessary. The gloves are ready for immediate use. The first impression is consistently positive.

The HIWESO assembly gloves have a high-quality feel as soon as you put them on. The blue-black colour looks functional and modern at the same time, without being overly conspicuous – ideal for use in professional environments such as construction sites or workshops. The uniform finish is particularly noteworthy: there are no open seams, loose threads or sharp edges. The transitions between the palm, finger areas and back of the hand are neatly finished. The gloves look robust without being stiff. With regard to sustainability, there is no further information on the production method or material origin. However, as this is a durable, reusable product, there is a certain potential for sustainability. The general value, appearance and material quality of the gloves meet expectations. In this respect, the product reliably fulfils the requirements of professional and private users alike.

In practical use, the HIWESO assembly gloves were convincing in various areas of application. The gloves demonstrated a reliable grip both in the garden and during light manual work such as screwing or carrying materials. The PU coating on the inner surfaces ensures safe handling without slipping, even in damp conditions. The good fit in both sizes tested is particularly noteworthy: The gloves mould to the hand without pinching or restricting freedom of movement. Even when worn for long periods, the gloves remained comfortable to wear, which is due to the breathable fabric structure. Despite the sturdy material, dexterity is largely retained. Precise activities such as fitting small screws or handling tools are possible without any problems. Slight restrictions in fine motor skills are due to the material, but are not serious. The tear resistance meets normal requirements, for example for gardening or workshop work. The gloves are not suitable for targeted cuts with a knife, which the manufacturer does not promise. Cleaning is a little more complicated as the gloves can only be washed by hand. However, they retain their shape and function after cleaning. Overall, the majority of the manufacturer’s promises are confirmed. The grip, comfort and versatility of use in particular speak in favour of the product’s suitability for everyday use.
