The Norwegian cardigan with faux fur CANDIAN from Nebulus made a very good impression overall in our test. The cardigan for men is two-tone and has a wintry pattern that runs all the way around. In addition to the faux fur on the inside, it has a zipper on the front, belly pockets and a high collar. The jacket is available in three different color combinations and five different sizes . For our test, we received the cardigan in navy-white and size M. The cardigan is extremely comfortable and keeps you warm. The material quality and workmanship are just as impressive as the cardigan in the practical test. This shows that the cardigan sits comfortably for a long time and the faux fur also feels very pleasant on the skin.

In our case, the CANADIAN cardigan from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box . The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the CANADIAN cardigan in its product packaging.
The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the CANADIAN cardigan was packed. The film is tear-resistant and cannot be stretched. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode, the product name and the size of the sweat jacket. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English.
The top of the bag has an opening which is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the jacket is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is a layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded jacket to prevent the jacket fabric from rubbing against each other during transportation.
The cardboard box and plastic bag protect the CANADIAN cardigan very well from damage and soiling.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

As you would expect, the CANADIAN cardigan does not require any additional accessories and is delivered without them. There is a cardboard disc the size of a beer mat on the label, which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.
There are no instructions for use, but they are not required. Washing instructions can be found on a label on the inside of the jacket, where this is illustrated with the familiar symbols. There is also information on the material composition of the CANADIAN cardigan and the size and product name.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

For our test, we received the CANADIAN cardigan in navy and white. In addition to this color combination, Nebulus also offers the cardigan in black-red and white-navy. The white and dark blue color combination gives the cardigan a wintery look. It is designed for men and is made from different fabrics on the inside and outside. The outside is knitted from soft, thick threads. The patterns are not stitched on, but are created using different colors of wool thread. The inside of the cardigan is made of white faux fur, which even lines the inside of the sleeves. This makes the inside fluffy, soft and very comfortable.
The cardigan also has a zipper on the front. This is trimmed in dark blue wool to match the rest of the cardigan. The cardigan does not have a hood, but it does have a high collar. The cardigan has two belly pockets without zippers. The pocket openings are trimmed with white fabric to match the rest of the cardigan.
There is an approximately seven centimeter long elastic section at the bottom, the collar and the ends of the sleeves, which allows the cardigan to fit snugly in the corresponding areas. The cardigan does not have an eyelet on the collar, so a hanger is required to hang it up. The zippers have tags with Nebulus print to make them easier to grip and open.
The majority of the cardigan is navy blue . Only the shoulder area and the elasticated sections on the collar, sleeves and underside are knitted in white. As a color contrast to the basic colors white and dark blue, the cardigan has a pattern of triangles, diamonds, snowflake symbols and Norway flags, which extend around the upper body at chest height.
There is also a patch on the left forearm with Nebulus lettering on a Norway flag. The inside of the collar is also designed in the style of the Norwegian flag. This additional contrast to the basic colors of the cardigan and the surrounding pattern gives the collar a special touch and adds a further subtle accent to the overall appearance.
The double-layered fabric of the cardigan is very thick, stretchy and tear-resistant. According to the label, the outer fabric is made entirely of polyacrylic, while the lining on the inside is made of polyester. The seams are all even and neat and hardly noticeable from the outside. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, there are no manufacturing faults on the cardigan. The cardigan has the typical, pleasant smell of brand-new clothing.
Overall, the CANADIAN Norwegian card igan with its dark blue and white basic colors, Nebulus patches and all-round pattern is a fashionable garment with an appealing winter design. The quality of the fabrics used and the seams, as well as the overall workmanship, are also impressive.

The CANADIAN Norwegian cardigan is sold in various sizes from S to XXL. In our test, we received the cardigan in M. Although the cardigan is a little too big for our slim tester, who is 170 cm tall, it still fits comfortably. The cardigan fits loosely around the body without looking baggy. The faux fur on the inside also feels very comfortable and soft on bare skin. This also means that the patch on the forearm is not noticeable.
When the zipper of the cardigan is closed, the collaris very close to the neck. The neck area could be a little wider here, as it presses slightly. This problem can be avoided by opening the zipper at the collar a little. Then the cardigan feels comfortable all round.
As you would expect from the thick fabric with inner fur, the cardigan keeps you nice and warm even in very cold weather. The stretchy areas on the underside, collar and sleeves ensure that the cardigan openings are flush with the body. This prevents the cold from penetrating the inside of the cardigan. The high collar in particular has a special function: if the zipper is closed all the way to the top, the collar not only fits snugly around the neck but also reaches up to the head. This also effectively protects the neck from the cold. Of course, the fluffy faux fur on the inside plays the biggest part in keeping you warm.
By opening the zipper on the front, you can influence to a limited extent how warm the jacket keeps you. The collar is then no longer so close to the neck and the warm air from the inside can escape upwards. This creates a slight airflow through the cardigan. In particular, however, the neck is no longer in direct contact with the warming fabric. However, the effect is not sufficient to allow the cardigan to be used over a wide temperature range. The jacket is therefore only suitable for very low temperatures or for people who freeze easily. The advantage of the warm belly pockets also becomes apparent in the cold: The pocket is completely inside the jacket. This means that not only can hands be kept warm, but battery-powered devices such as cell phones can also be stowed inside.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash the cardigan according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the CANADIAN cardigan, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing at 110 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The cardigan survives the washing process without any damage or fading.
All in all, the CANADIAN Norwegian cardigan was thoroughly convincing in our practical test. It sits comfortably, feels pleasant against the skin thanks to the inner fur, keeps you warm and cozy and also withstands washing without any problems.
