The Ortho Medic makes a positive impression as soon as it is unpacked. The sturdy cardboard box offers sufficient protection during transport. Although unnecessary packaging waste has been avoided, the use of plastic film could possibly be a point of criticism for some consumers. The product packaging contains a 90×200 cm spring mattress. A small booklet with instructions for use in five languages is also included.

As part of our practical test, we tested the Ortho Medic in detail and documented the results using the specified test methods. The lying comfort was rated as very good , with the firmness level specially designed for people weighing up to 300 kg. In addition, the first three layers form an integrated topper. High-quality materials ensure breathability, elasticity and ventilation, which contributes to a dry sleeping environment. No chemical odour was detected in the test. The product adapts very well to different sleeping positions and, with its seven zones, offers excellent pressure distribution and support for the spine. The pocket spring core layer promotes relaxation and at the same time adapts to the contours of the body. Cleaning and care are easy, and the booklet provides valuable tips. Customers can currently choose between the sizes 90-180 x 190-200 cm.
