The climate wadding cover with zippers on three sides is easy to use, ideal for allergy sufferers andwashable at up to 60 °C. The high-quality eco-wash climate fiber cover, quilted with moisture-regulating climate wadding, ensures a pleasant sleeping climate. The ventilation channels incorporated in the cold foam promote temperature regulation and prevent heat build-up. The instructions for use are only glued to the packaging and are hardly reusable.

For our product test, the OrthoMatra KSP-500 mattress was delivered in the company’s own shipping box. The box was in perfect condition and could be opened without any additional tools. Inside, the mattress was rolled up in an outer thicker and an inner thinner plastic film that held it together. We are of the opinion that the outer plastic film would be sufficient for product protection and that this should be reconsidered in terms of sustainability. There was a large product label on the film with important data and information about the product as well as instructions for making a complaint. After unpacking from the foil, the mattress was in excellent condition, without scratches or stains. At first glance, the mattress makes a very good impression.

The visual appearance of the OrthoMatra KSP-500 is appealing. The high-quality cover feels pleasant against the skin and the slightly glittering design gives it a high-quality touch. The workmanship is very good, both the cover and the three-sided zippers are solidly stitched. The mattress is stable thanks to the well-stitched zippers and the tear-resistant cover. With regard to the sustainability of the product, it should be mentioned that the OrthoMatra KSP-500 is certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex 100 standard. This indicates that the production process is environmentally friendly and safe for health.

In our detailed practical test of the OrthoMatra KSP-500 mattress, we were able to take a closer look at various aspects of the product. The mattress offers excellent lying comfort thanks to its ergonomic adjustment. When lying on the mattress, the spine and joints are optimally supported and relieved, resulting in an extremely pleasant sleeping experience. The different zones of the mattress ensure that each part of the body is individually supported.
Another advantage of the OrthoMatra KSP-500 is its hygiene. The mattress material is breathable and moisture-regulating, which creates a pleasant sleeping environment and reduces perspiration during the night. The removable cover of the mattress can be washed at 60 °C, which makes the product easier to clean and maintain and ensures long-lasting freshness.
During my test of the mattress, I noticed a faint chemical smell, which is common when buying new mattresses. This could be annoying for particularly sensitive people, but the smell disappears after a short time. It is recommended to air the mattress sufficiently before use.
The firmness level of the OrthoMatra KSP-500 is in the H2-H3 range and is therefore ideal for people weighing between 40 and 120 kg. Thanks to the individual adjustment to body weight and sleeping position, the mattress offers optimum support for restful sleep and therefore makes a significant contribution to good sleep quality.
Overall, the OrthoMatra KSP-500 mattress impressed me in my practical test with its excellent lying comfort, ergonomic adjustment and hygienic properties. Despite the initial chemical smell, the mattress is a good choice for people who are looking for a comfortable and supportive sleeping surface.
