The Body & Mind® orthopaedic seat cushion has been specially developed to optimise sitting comfort while improving posture. Thanks to its ergonomic U-shaped design, the cushion reduces pressure on the coccyx and promotes healthy spinal alignment, making it the ideal choice for pain and tension.
Made from high-quality memory foam from BASF, the cushion moulds perfectly to the shape of the body, providing long-lasting comfort and pain relief. In addition, the pillow is versatile – whether in the office, in the car, when travelling or at home – and has an anti-slip coating and a removable and washable cover for added stability and hygiene.
Available in three different firmness levels , the pillow can be customised to suit personal comfort requirements. However, our test shows that despite the many advantages, there are also some minor weaknesses.

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the orthopaedic seat cushion makes a very good visual impression. There are no visible sewing faults , the material of the cushion cover is stable yet soft and has an anti-slip coating . The product also impresses with its elegant yet simple design. Only when opening the zip can some fabric occasionally be pulled into the zip if it is opened too quickly.
The core is made of memory foam from BASF. However, this is a little sloppy in places, but this has no effect on the functionality of the pillow.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product. The materials used appear to be of high quality, so that along service life can be assumed.

In our practical test, the orthopaedic seat cushion from Body & Mind® largely lived up to its advertising promises.
The test subjects described the cushion as comfortable and did not experience any discomfort even after sitting on it for long periods. However, you first have to find the right firmness for you personally.
The even pressure distribution and adaptable memory foam technology ensured a high level of comfort and well-being. The stability of the pillow was particularly emphasised. It remains relatively stable and non-slip on all surfaces tested. Sitting on the surface of the cushion is very stable.
Another plus point is the ease of care of the cushion. The removable cover could easily be washed in the washing machine at up to 40 degrees and came back from the cleaners without any stains or damage. This makes the cushion very practical for everyday use.
In addition, the cushion adapted perfectly to all furniture tested, whether office chair, dining chair, sofa or car seat, and offered a high level of comfort on all surfaces.
Another major benefit was that the pillow had no noticeable odour, both initially and after a week of use. This means that it does not give off any unpleasant chemical odours, which can be an important factor for many users.
To summarise, our test shows that the orthopaedic seat cushion from Body & Mind® is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive seat cushion . It offers numerous advantages; the few negative aspects are more of a subjective nature and hardly detract from the overall high quality of the product.
