The pest master ichneumon wasps from Panteer convinced us in the test. Panteer offers high-quality ichneumon wasps (Trichogramma evanescens) that are produced in Germany. They are dispatched daily from Monday to Thursday to ensure fresh delivery. The customer is informed in advance by e-mail about the delivery day.
The ichneumon wasps are organic and 100% natural, without chemicals. They are harmless to humans and pets and require no special care. Panteer delivers the ichneumon wasps every 3 weeks so that fresh ichneumon wasps are always available to combat moth eggs.

The ichneumon wasps from Panteer arrived compactly packed in an envelope. The envelope was undamaged and easy to open. The product protection was fully guaranteed in this case and the cards with the parasitic wasps were therefore in perfect condition.

The parasitic wasps are supplied in small card tags. Each green card contains around 3,000 ichneumon wasp larvae. The larvae are tiny and can hardly be seen with the naked eye when they hatch.
Three pheromone traps are supplied in a sealed envelope. Unfortunately, the enclosed instructions for use do not explain the exact procedure, which can only be found on the Amazon page.
The cards are used for approx. 3 weeks, then new ones are delivered so that the new parasitic wasps can fight the moth eggs again. The used cards can be disposed of in the normal residual waste without hesitation, as they do not contain any chemical substances.

The ichneumon wasps from Panteer impressed us positively in the test. The application of the various cards was user-friendly and possible without the use of chemicals. The moth traps were well packaged and easy to use. The first ichneumon wasps were visible after just three days.
However, the instructions for first-time users left a lot to be desired. A look at the Amazon page for correct handling is essential. It should also be noted that the application sites must not be directly exposed to the sun, as the parasitic wasps react sensitively to high temperatures.
Pheromone traps are also easy to use. The combination of both methods is particularly effective against food moths, as the parasitic wasps combat the moth brood naturally and the moth traps attract and catch the males.
The price is very good and well staggered. Overall, this method of controlling food moths is highly recommended.
