It is a pleasantly soft pill ow with a filling of 100% class VII down, a size of approx. 40 x 40 cm and a filling weight of 300 g. The pillow is white and has a 100% cotton cover. The cushion is also available in the sizes 30×50, 45×45, 50×50, 40×60 and 40×40 with a filling quantity of 300g and 350g as well as in a set of 2. The cushion is MADE IN GERMANY.

The cushion filling from Luxusfeder arrived compactly packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The box was undamaged and could easily be opened with a sharp object. The product was in a plastic storage bag, which additionally packaged and protected the product. The product was fully protected in this case. The cushion arrived in perfect condition. The packaging is not fully recyclable with regard to the plastic storage bag supplied. However, as the cushion was delivered directly in this bag, this plastic bag makes perfect sense in terms of adequate product protection. The longevity of the product means that sustainability is a given. The filling cushion from Luxusfeder makes a very good impression overall.

We enjoyed using the pillow filling from Luxusfeder during the test. The down pillow is very comfortable and has no chemical odour. It is very light and therefore ideal for travelling. We find the quality of the pillow to be very good and the feathers feel soft. However, it is not yet clear whether the feather stems penetrate through the pillowcase and sting unpleasantly, as the pillow could not be tested long enough. The filling thickness of the pillow is appropriate for the living room and it is both firm and cosy. It provides the necessary support. We find the workmanship of the cushion to be very clean and good. Overall, the pillow filling is a good choice for anyone looking for a pleasant, hygienic and comfortable pillow.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.5 stars. They often criticise the fact that the feathers in the pillows prick. Many customers like the fact that the pillow is soft and comfortable. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the pillow is very soft and well filled. Whether the feather quills come through can only be assessed after a longer test phase.
