The “Pimp” splash guard from Kitty Professional made a very good impression in the test. The product prevents ingredients from spilling out of the mixing bowl and soiling the kitchen. In addition, the attachable funnel makes it easy to add ingredients during the kneading or mixing process . As the splash guard is transparent, you can see through the whole process and watch the dough as it is being mixed. The splash guard is also available in three versions (3.3 litre – 4.3 litre – 4.8 litre – 6.9 litre) and can be used in all standard 3.3 litre, 4.3 litre, 4.8 litre and 6.9 litre machines (depending on the version). In addition to the normal mixing bowl, the splash guard is also compatible with the glass and ceramic bowl.
The materials used are also of very good quality. There are no unpolished edges or processing defects on the splash guard.

The “Pimp” splash guard from Kitty Professional arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the two-part splash guard, an attachable funnel, a silicone plug and detailed operating instructions, which could be read in over 5 languages. The product parts were each wrapped in paper so that the packaging protects the product from scratches and dirt! In this case, the product was fully protected and the splash guard was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the splash guard is completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were three items on the kitchen table. In addition to the “pimp” splash guard, our test also included an instruction manual, a clip-on funnel, a silicone stopper and a Kitty Professional product catalogue.
Particularly noteworthy is the instruction manual, which explains the areas of application of the splash guard to the customer in over 5 languages. The installation and use of the splash guard went without a hitch.
Unfortunately, an e-mail address and telephone number could not be found on the packaging or in the instructions.
All in all, this is a very good way to send a product.

The “Pimp” splash guard from Kitty Professional makes a very good visual impression in the test. In addition to the simple design, it has no manufacturing faults. The splash guard is made of high-quality plastic and should therefore not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The product impresses with its low weight and sturdy workmanship. The customer is supplied with a high-quality splash guard that prevents liquids from leaking when kneading or stirring.
Unfortunately, we cannot find any information about sustainability , but the materials used appear to be of very high quality, which is why we assume that the product will have a long service life.

We really enjoyed installing and using the “pimp” splash guard from Kitty Professional during the test. It is very easy to use and can simply be hooked into the machine. The item is made from a high-quality material and (unlike the dough hook) can only be cleaned by hand.
It is very easy to use and you can even remove the splash guard from the machine without swivelling the motor head. This is made possible by the fact that the splash guard can be dismantled into two parts or folded apart.
Another nice feature of the splash guard is the attachable funnel, which allows the user to pour ingredients into the food processor during the kneading and mixing process.
In our test, we also looked at whether the splash guard is also suitable for other no-name food processors and can confirm that it can be used with a ‘Klarstein’ food processor. However, you should find out more about this and, if necessary, measure the size of the mixing bowl of the food processor more precisely and compare it with the original Kitchen-Aid machine.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. One criticism is that the splash guard is not dishwasher-safe . Many customers like the fact that it has a very attractive design and seals perfectly. In our practical test, we were also able to confirm these points, but we found that cleaning by hand is also very easy .
Prices of up to €29.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €18.39. With a price of €24.95, the “Pimp” splash guard from Kitty Professional is therefore in the upper price segment in our test. The price ratio is good for the quality and scope of services you get.
