The plancha grill plate was delivered in a sturdy cardboard box. The box was undamaged and easy to open. The grill plate was in a plastic bag and the grill scraper was packed in an extra box. The product packaging protects the product from damage. Unfortunately, the product packaging is not completely recyclable.
The barbecue set consists of a plancha made of 30x40cm and 4 cm thick food-safe stainless steel, a barbecue spatula, a barbecue scraper and 20 burger papers as well as an instruction manual.
The operating instructions are written clearly and in detail in German. The Planche grill plate makes a very good impression at first glance.

The grill plate impresses with its pleasant appearance and high-quality food-safe stainless steel. The workmanship is very good. The supplied grill spatula and grill scraper have a sharp edge which is ideal for cutting up the food to be grilled. The grill plate is robust and retains its shape and color, which indicates long-lasting use. The whole set leaves a very good impression.

The practical test confirmed the versatility of the flammtal plancha grill plate. Meat, fish and vegetables were cooked evenly and succulently, and the welded and deburred corners ensured that no fat dripped onto the grill.
The heat was efficiently distributed over the entire plate, which led to even results.
However, we found that the term dishwasher safe after baking could be misleading as it can affect the extra baked-on non-stick coating. However, there are differing opinions on this in the relevant forums. We would clean the plancha after use as described in the operating instructions with warm water and washing-up liquid, but never with steel wool, a wire brush or strong chemicals or aggressive or corrosive cleaning agents.
Overall, the flammtal plancha grill plate offers good value for money and meets most of the requirements for a high-quality grill plate.
