In our case, the Summerfresh polo shirt from SINES was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box . The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the SINES polo shirt was packed. The film is tear-resistant and cannot be stretched. The dark shade of blue is subtle and can be worn for any occasion. The polo shirt is evenly woven from fine threads and feels pleasant both inside and out.
As is usual with polo shirts, the polo shirt has an opening at the front that reaches down to the chest. This overlaps on a strip around three centimetres wide, on which three buttons are positioned one above the other. The buttons have a matt, shimmering orange color. The orange color serves as a contrast to the dark blue of the rest of the polo shirt and is also used in several other places. The polo shirt does not have a breast pocket.
Unlike the majority of the polo shirt, the collar is sewn from thicker threads and therefore has a different structure to the rest of the shirt. As a result, the collar is also thicker than the rest of the fabric, making it particularly dimensionally stable. The color is largely identical to the rest of the polo shirt, but there is a narrow orange stripe at the bottom that matches the buttons. This design is also picked up on the sleeves. A section around two centimetres wide is sewn onto these, which is also sewn with thicker thread and therefore of a different thickness and strength. Like the collar, this also ends with an orange stripe running all the way around.
The orange color can also be found in other special design elements. These include the Summerfresh logo with the brand-typical pineapple, which is printed on the left chest. As a special extra, the back fabric layer of the overlapping area around the chest opening is also orange.
The fabric of the polo shirt is stretchy and tear-resistant within limits. Although it is not particularly thick and therefore pleasantly light , it is completely opaque. According to the label, the shirt is made entirely of cotton. The seams are all even and neatly finished. Unfortunately, there are a few protruding threads, but these are only very short. Apart from this, the polo shirt has no manufacturing faults. The polo shirt has the typical, pleasant smell of brand-new clothing.
Overall, the polo shirt in dark blue with orange decorative elements has a summery and appealing design. The quality of the fabrics used and the seams, as well as the overall finish, are also impressive.

The Summerfresh polo shirt from SINES is sold in various sizes between S and 3XL. In our test, we received the polo shirt in M. The polo shirt fits our slim tester, who is 170 cm tall, like a glove. The shirt fits comfortably and is loose-fitting, making it very comfortable. The fabric feels pleasant against the skin, as you would expect from a polo shirt. Another positive aspect is that there are no irritating labels on the inside that could cause scratching when worn. The existing label has soft edges and is not noticeable.
The polo shirt can be personalized using the three buttons. When the buttons are opened, the orange fabric behind the overlap is also visible. If the top button is closed, none of this is visible. The neckline of the polo shirt is then tight, but without unpleasantly constricting the neck.
The low weight of the polo shirt is noticeable when worn. The shirt is therefore not uncomfortable to wear, even during sporting activities. The fabric is also slightly permeable to air, making it comfortable to wear even at high temperatures. In this context, the cut of the polo shirt is particularly impressive. Although the T-shirt is figure-hugging, it does not sit directly against the body. This leaves a thin layer of air between the fabric and the body, which ensures good heat dissipation in high temperatures or during physical exertion.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash the polo shirt according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In the case of the Summerfresh polo shirt from SINES, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing at 110 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. Both the polo shirt and the print survive the washing process without any damage or fading.
All in all, the Summerfresh polo shirt from SINES impressed us in our practical test. It fits comfortably, can be used flexibly, has an advantageous cut and also withstands washing without any problems.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.2 stars. Many customers criticize that the green color does not look like the one in the pictures, but is much darker. As we are not testing the polo shirt in green, but in dark blue, we are unable to judge this. The dark blue matches the color in the sales pictures.
