The pool tarpaulin from Planenfux made a very good impression in our test. Thanks to its high quality, the tarpaulin is robust and stable. Using the steel cable supplied, the tarpaulin can be attached to pools with a diameter of 320 cm to 366 cm. The Strong-Hold fastening ensures that it can be firmly attached to the pool. The pool tarpaulin was particularly impressive with its neat seams and reinforced edges. Nevertheless, instructions on how to install the product correctly would have been desirable.

The pool cover from Planenfux arrived in the typical Amazon box. The box was undamaged and easy to open with a sharp object. The box contained the folded pool cover and accessories in a plastic bag with a pressure seal. In this case, the product was fully protected and the tarpaulin was therefore in perfect condition. The packaging of the pool cover is partially recyclable. Unfortunately, the plastic bag is not recyclable, but the Amazon box is. Overall, the pool tarpaulin from Planenfux makes a very good impression.

In addition to the pool cover, the packaging includes a steel cable with plastic sheathing and a Strong-Hold cable tensioner. When opening the packaging, it is noticeable that the pool cover does not give off an unpleasant plastic smell. The enclosed product information sheet contains the contact information and product features of the pool cover. There are no instructions for use or instructions on how to thread the steel cable through correctly, which would have been desirable.

The pool cover is made from a UV and chlorine-resistant PE material and has a diameter of 420 cm. This pool cover from Planenfux is therefore suitable for pools with a diameter of 320 cm to 366 cm. The Strong-Hold fastening to hold the tarpaulin together is very high quality. The accompanying steel cable with a red plastic coating has a diameter of 3 mm. Thanks to the high-quality materials and excellent workmanship, the tarpaulin makes a long-lasting impression.

We really enjoyed using the pool cover during testing. After threading the steel cable into the eyelets, the tarpaulin is fastened around the pool using the strong-hold fastening. The pool cover from Heimfleiss has a so-called yin and yang function. The pool cover has a black side, the solar function, which heats the pool water to a pleasant temperature. If the other side is on top, the green side, the water retains a refreshingly cool temperature. The pool cover reduces water evaporation . It also protects the water from dirt and algae formation. The materials are very high quality and durable. The excellent workmanship at the eyelets in particular, with reinforcing inserts, protects the tarpaulin from premature wear and tear.
