The practical test shows that the manufacturer’s advertising promises are largely kept. The grip stability is excellent, the grip remains stable under load and has no visible defects .
The castor test was also passed with flying colours: The castors are smooth-running and run on all tested surfaces, even on smooth floors and carpets, without resistance or jerking.
The inside of the case is well thought out, with functional dividers and pockets. Although there are minimal restrictions in terms of organisation, these hardly affect optimum use. The integrated mesh compartment and cross-body strap allow for organised storage. An expansion joint to increase the storage space has been omitted in favour of stability.
The integrated TSA lock has no visible defects and also works perfectly under pressure during the load test. The lock remained stable and smooth-running even after intensive long-term testing.
The polycarbonate material is dimensionally stable and shows no visible defects. After any deformation, it quickly returns to its original shape without any signs of wear or material fatigue. Particularly noteworthy are the interchangeable castors and handles, which considerably extend the service life of the case.
Compared to competitor products made of ABS, Travely ‘s polycarbonate case set offers significantly greater break resistance and durability.
