The Rebelnomading lunch box set impressed in our test with its well-thought-out combination of functionality, sustainability, and high-quality workmanship. The set consists of two stainless steel lunch boxes – a large lunch box for adults (1400 milliliters) and a smaller children’s lunch box with compartments (550 milliliters). Both are made of sturdy 304 stainless steel, are rust-free, BPA-free, and leak-proof.
We were particularly impressed by the fact that the boxes are completely plastic-free, making them ideal for environmentally conscious individuals. The practical features are also advantageous: the set includes a foldable cutlery set and a carrying bag, so the product is ready for immediate use. The separate compartments also reliably separate foods by taste – ideal for school, work, or outdoor activities.
However, it would have been nice if the closures were a little easier to use, especially for children.
Overall, the set is a hygienic, sustainable, and durable solution for everyday use.

The cans demonstrate high stability in testing, even after repeated opening, transport, and light impact. Particularly noteworthy is the sustainable manufacturing process—completely plastic-free and using high-quality materials that show no signs of wear even after prolonged use. In practical testing, the Rebelnomading lunch box set largely confirmed the manufacturer’s specifications. The leak-proofness was tested with liquids: only when shaken vigorously did minimal dripping occur, otherwise the contents remained reliably leak-proof. The closures held securely even when shaken, with only a slight shifting of the food noticeable – functional but not a problem.
The set showed its best side when it came to cleaning: each box could be cleaned without leaving any residue, both by hand and in the dishwasher. Even after intensive use, the boxes remained odor-free and visually unchanged. One minor criticism concerns the somewhat tight closures, which require a little force when first used, but ensure long-term leak-proofness.
Overall, the test confirms that the Rebelnomading stainless steel lunch box is durable, hygienic, and leak-proof—a clear recommendation for anyone who values sustainability, functionality, and design.
