The sandpaper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN made a very good impression in the test. The product can be used to sand old furniture, unfinished wood, metal and other materials. The sandpaper is cut in a round shape so that it can be easily attached to the random orbital sander using the attached Velcro fastening system . The sanding paper set consists of several sanding thicknesses and can therefore be used for coarse sanding and also for finer sanding work . The sanding paper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the stacked sandpaper without the use of a plastic film. An instruction manual is included with the product and is printed on the box, which saves resources. No plastic was used in the packaging, which is also positive for recycling. In this case, the product was fully protected and the sandpaper was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the sandpaper is completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were 60 sanding paper discs on the workbench, which were available in 6 different grit sizes (10 per thickness).
Installation and use went without a hitch, as this is very intuitive and works in the same way for the standard sandpaper cuts. Unfortunately, the customer is not provided with a customer hotline as a contact option.
However, customers can contact WERKSTEIN’s customer service team via the e-mail address provided. This information is printed directly on the packaging and on the enclosed business card and can be easily seen by the customer. All in all, this is a very good way to send a product.

We really enjoyed using the sandpaper from WERKSTEIN during the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone thanks to the intuitive Velcro fastening.
In our test, the sanding paper was tested on a standard wooden panel with a normal random orbital sander.
The sanding discs are easy to attach to the machine and guarantee a secure hold thanks to the good Velcro system. Even under heavy loads, the sanding disc runs very smoothly and a good work result is possible for any layman if the sanding disc is used correctly.
The sanding disc is more than suitable for the needs of a DIY enthusiast.
It is particularly important to emphasise that the sanding disc stays firmly in place and runs very smoothly during use.
