Our practical test has shown that the sniffer rug from DOGPARENTS® lives up to the manufacturer’s promise. The intuitive handling is impressive: the rug could be used immediately without any preparation or instructions. The dogs interacted easily with the rug and enjoyed the varied challenges.
Cleaning was uncomplicated: After a machine wash, the rug remained in perfect condition.
Slip resistance was also largely assured. This was tested on various floors – the carpet remained largely stable. However, the mat did not prove to be 100% slip-resistant when the dog played wildly.
The high durability was proven in intensive stress tests, as there were no signs of wear or material damage. The wide range of hiding places provided long-lasting activity and significantly increased the dogs’ enjoyment of playing.
Overall, the sniffer rug was convincing in all categories and proved to be a sensible investment for dog owners. The product is not only functional, but also promotes the mental health of the dog.
