The Duality wallet from the Scofield brand leaves a thoroughly positive impression in our test. In addition to a stylish and appealing appearance, the manufacturer’s product is a high-quality and very well-made everyday item that fully fulfils its advertising promises. The clever and compact product design is also evident in terms of security, as the built-in aluminium case provides RFID protection. At the same time, the manufacturer also takes sustainability aspects into account, as the product is manufactured 100% animal-free . In our practical test, we were generally very satisfied with the product. The only thing that might limit some customers is the coin compartment, which is a little too small. A further product version with more space would be desirable here. However, the manufacturer offers a compact and elegant accessory in three different colours that should fit in almost any trouser pocket, especially for occasions where you only want to carry the things you really need.

The Duality wallet from the Scofield brand arrives in stylish, matt black packaging. Inside is a lovingly designed information card and the wallet itself. The latter is wrapped in a piece of paper for protection. The matt black design of the packaging matches the product perfectly, creating a harmonious and high-quality overall look. The product does not come with instructions for use. However, we consider the product to be self-explanatory, so this is not necessary. Overall, the packaging is very compact and sustainably designed. Unnecessary packaging waste is avoided and the materials used are also recyclable. Overall, the product makes a very good first impression.

Even on closer inspection, the product makes a very good impression.
Visually, the product initially has a very minimalist and simple design. A simple zip and a press stud concealed by a brand logo are the only eye-catching features alongside the inconspicuous card slot. In the example presented for this test, the design is in matt black and silver. However, the manufacturer offers two other alternative colours.
Both the material and the workmanship are of a high quality. The product is pleasant to hold and the material feels soft and comfortable. No manufacturing faults or defects can be identified. All seams are clean and neatly finished. There is a slight chemical odour from the product immediately after unpacking. However, this evaporated in the course of our test. Overall, the material appears tear-resistant and robust. The adhesive that bonds the card drawer to the fabric reliably withstands everyday wear and tear. However, improper tearing can cause it to come loose relatively easily, especially at the corners. The manufacturer makes an important contribution by choosing 100% animal-free materials. The robust product design emphasises a long service life and therefore also the sustainability of the product.

In our practical test, the Duality wallet from the Scofield brand initially impressed us with its minimalist and elegant design. The drawer solution for card storage is particularly modern and visually appealing.
The manufacturer also offers a very compact concept that is sufficient for most applications. In the everyday test, however, we found that the coin compartment is rather narrow and offers space for no more than a few coins. Furthermore, the wallet can only hold 7 cards in the drawer mechanism and 2-3 additional cards in the small mesh compartment opposite with a lot of good will. With a total of 6+2 cards, comfortable handling makes more sense in our opinion, as otherwise the sliding mechanism becomes sluggish and the mesh compartment is under a lot of tension. This should be taken into account when choosing a suitable wallet.
In terms of quality and workmanship, however, the product is once again completely convincing. The material is scratch-resistant even under stress. The water-repellent behaviour can also be confirmed by water droplets beading off. All fasteners are smooth-running and close reliably. The manufacturer’s advertised promise of quality is therefore fulfilled in full.
In addition, the RFID protection of the aluminium housing and the choice of 100% animal-free material underline an overall well thought-out and clever product design.
Our overall conclusion for this test is therefore very positive. The product is a sensible and stylish alternative, especially for smaller occasions where only the most important cards and cash need to be carried. Its suitability for everyday use depends on personal usage behaviour.
