Packaging and contents
ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Product protection | Product sufficiently protected | 100 points |
Sustainability Packaging | No use of plastic film | 100 points |
Package contents & scope | individual components of the shoe rack + assembly instructions | 100 points |
Instructions for use | clearly written in English and with pictures | 90 points |
Total | 98 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
When we received the Goods+Gadgets® shoe rack, we immediately noticed the careful and product-appropriate packaging. Thanks to the effective product protection, the shoe rack arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or soiling. The environmentally friendly approach of the packaging is particularly pleasing – plastic film was deliberately avoided here, which not only conserves resources but also protects the product from possible damage caused by scratches.
The contents of the packaging are well structured and clearly laid out. All individual parts of the shoe rack are supplied together with clear assembly instructions. The instructions themselves are only written in English and impress with their pictorial representation, which makes assembly an intuitive process and minimizes language barriers.

Product processing and appearance
ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the workmanship of the products. How high quality are the materials used? Are the look and feel satisfactory?
Criterion | Remark | Score achieved* |
---|---|---|
Visual appearance | appealing design | 100 points |
Processing | good workmanship, but the product sticker is on one of the pieces of tile, which is difficult to remove and damages the tile when it is removed | 80 points |
Stability | Very stable | 100 points |
Sustainability of the product | No information on sustainability – however, we assume a high durability due to the materials used + customer satisfaction guarantee | 90 points |
Total | 93 points |
*The maximum score is 100 points
When you first look at the Goods+Gadgets® shoe rack, you immediately notice its appealing design, which can be easily integrated into various interior styles. Only the product sticker on one of the tile fabrics is not ideal, as it is difficult to remove and can damage the tile when removed. This aspect could be optimized.
The overall build quality of the shoe rack is high quality. No manufacturing faults were found, which indicates that the product has been carefully manufactured. The stability of the product is impressive – the shoe rack stands firmly and securely, even when loaded with several pairs of shoes.
The manufacturer does not make any explicit statements about sustainability. However, the use of robust materials and the satisfaction guarantee suggest a long service life. Clearer communication of the ecological aspects would be desirable here.
