The product silicone sealant from the TEPCO brand is a silicone sealant.
The versatility of this product makes it an ideal solution for elastic bonding and sealing in bus, train and vehicle construction. This flexibility enables a wide range of applications to meet the requirements of a wide variety of projects.
An outstanding feature is its extreme temperature resistance. Once cured, the product remains elastic and stable, even at extreme temperatures from -40°C to +260°C. This property ensures reliable performance under demanding conditions, which is particularly important in the automotive industry.
In addition, the product offers long-lasting protection. It is UV-resistant, climate-resistant and resistant to water, salt water, oil, coolant and many chemicals. This robustness ensures that the bonds and seals retain their functionality even under adverse conditions.
Precise and efficient processing is supported by the high viscosity of the product, which makes it easy to handle . It bridges large sealing gaps and reliably fills unevenness , making application considerably easier.

When you pick up the product for the first time, you immediately notice its pleasant size. The bottle sits comfortably in the hand and can also be easily used by people with smaller hands.
The first thing that catches the eye on the outside is the clear step-by-step instructions for use.
The cap fits tightly and is well sized. It can be pulled off with a little effort, but is not too loose to come off easily.
Overall, the sealing bottle makes a solid and stable first impression.

The silicone seal was subjected to extensive practical testing.
In terms of adhesion, the tests showed that the silicone is suitable for a wide range of materials such as wood, glass, plastic and ceramic. After the drying process, a slightly elastic, very well adhering black mass was created.
The heat and cold resistance was particularly evident when exposed to sunlight and sub-zero temperatures overnight. No weaknesses in the material could be recognised here.
A minimal odour was noticeable when applying from the bottle, but this dissipated fairly quickly.
The resistance of the silicone to various cleaning agents was also tested. The material proved to be very resistant and showed no weaknesses.
In the practical test, this product impressed with its easy handling (uncomplicated application after a little practice) and the hard-wearing silicone.
