The tube fitting from SmartProduct is available in different versions. Depending on requirements, the buyer can order the fittings in single, double, triple or ninefold versions. The dimensions of the fitting are 25 × 25 mm and the product is built at a 90 degree angle . The clamp connector for indoor and outdoor installations is compatible with PE80 and PE100 pipes and impresses with its high-quality use of materials . Durable polypropylene was used in its manufacture, making the product highly resilient. The seller guarantees temperature resistance, weather resistance and UV resistance. On a positive note, the pipe fitting can withstand pressures of up to 16 bar. The product has important certifications. It is strictly quality-tested and complies with EU norms and standards. After unpacking, there were four elements on the table. The package contained three pipe fittings and instructions for use. Overall, it should be noted that the products are adequately packaged and there is no unnecessary packaging waste such as plastic. The three pipe fittings all make a solid impression and look identical. The instructions for use also deserve a positive mention. In addition to German, they are also available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. The illustrated step-by-step instructions ensure that the screw fitting is easy to install and makes installation easier, especially for less tech-savvy people. The enclosed instructions for use are very customer-oriented. It would have been desirable to include a contact hotline on the instructions for use in case of queries about the product.

The pipe fitting makes a high-quality visual impression. The design in the colors blue and black ensures a modern appearance. The workmanship of the product is very solid and of high quality. The pipe fitting receives a small number of points because a small processing defect is visible in the plastic on the outside of the blue element. However, this does not affect the functionality of the product and is merely a minor visual blemish. The product sits comfortably in the hand and appears stable. Due to the processing of high-quality materials, it can be assumed that the product is suitable for long-term use.

The pipe fittings are easy to fit and make a robust impression. There is a minimal deduction of points as a certain amount of force is required to attach them. The use of high-quality polypropylene ensures good material quality for the pipe fittings. In addition, the pipe fittings have high-quality, silicone-coated O-rings and strong clamping rings. The material is durable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, as the fitting is weatherproof, UV-resistant and temperature-resistant. The product can withstand pressures of up to 16 bar. The pipe fittings have all the important certifications (DVGW, Wien-Zert, KIWA, UBA, OIB, ITC and Carso) and therefore comply with EU norms and standards. On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.5 stars. One common criticism is that the pipe is somewhat narrow and therefore difficult to fit. Many customers like the tightness and robust material of the product. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the material and tightness were good and that the installation was basically easy to handle, but actually required a little more effort.
Prices of up to €18 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €13. The tube fitting from SmartProduct is therefore currently priced at €13.95, which is in the lower price segment. The price-performance ratio is reasonable for the quality and performance received.
