The Adlersfeld socket outlet cover arrives in very compact packaging made of foiled cardboard. This avoids unnecessary packaging waste. The instructions for use are clearly written in German and are surprisingly detailed for such a self-explanatory product. There are a total of 20 covers in the packaging. On closer inspection, the product confirms the very good first impression.
The very minimalist and simple white design is not obtrusive and blends in unobtrusively, which is a positive aspect of this product.
The socket outlet cover has a very even and flawless finish.
At the same time, the fuse is designed to be very robust and resistant , so that no breakage or deformation can be detected even when subjected to body weight.
Unfortunately, there is no labelling on the product itself regarding recycling. By using high-quality materials , it contributes to a long service life and to minimising transport routes, so that the product can be classified as sustainable overall.

The socket cover from Adlersfeld®was convincing in the practical test. The product is very easy to install and does what the manufacturer promises.
The cover fits perfectly into the socket and sits firmly and securely without any play or unevenness. Even after prolonged use, the cover showed no signs of deformation or damage. A particularly positive aspect is that it can be fitted without tools and the cover can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.
The robust design combined with the secure twist mechanism ensures a stable hold and reliably protects small children from the dangers of open sockets.
In addition, the cover was tested in a closed room and proved to be absolutely odourless, which is particularly pleasant in everyday use.
Visually, the cover blends discreetly into any socket and is therefore unobtrusive in any living space. One major disadvantage, however, is that the socket outlet can no longer be used after the fuse has been inserted, which should be taken into account when using it.
If you are looking for a reliable, inexpensive and unobtrusive socket outlet fuse and can do without using the socket outlet, this product is the right choice.

Consumers rate the Adlersfeld® socket cover on Amazon with an average of 4.7 stars. A frequent criticism is that the socket can no longer be used once the fuse has been inserted, which disappoints some users. Many customers like the ease of installation and the precise fit of the cover, which fits securely and unobtrusively into the socket. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that installation was quick and easy and that the fuse holds firmly and reliably. However, our test also showed that the socket outlet can no longer be used once the fuse has been fitted, which is a disadvantage.
Prices of up to €0.50 per item are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €0.24 each . The socket cover from Adlersfeld® is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of € 0.20 per piece and is even the cheapest product at the moment.
