The SummerFan hula hoop is an effective fitness device that is particularly suitable for beginners. The first impression of the SummerFan Hula Hoop is very positive. The packaging of the product is very well thought out and offers effective protection during transportation. The use of recyclable materials for the packaging is particularly commendable.
The contents of the packaging consist of 4 pink and 4 gray plastic segments covered with soft NBR foam. The hula hoop is complete and in perfect condition so that it is ready for use immediately after assembly.
The enclosed instructions for use are clearly written in German and two other languages. There is also a QR code on the outer box that leads to a training video.

The Hula Hoop from SummerFan impresses with its attractive design. The workmanship is very good, with no visible defects or unclean transitions. The product is made of NBR foam and hard plastic, which leaves a very robust impression. The hoop does not smell of plastic or chemicals, which indicates a good choice of materials and workmanship.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life.

First, the individual segments of the hula hoop must be joined together. Thanks to the precise one-click function , this is done in less than a minute. The buttons of the individual components can be easily pressed in and snap into place once they have been put together. This ensures that the product remains stable and tear-proof. Even a “fall” onto the floor cannot damage the locking mechanism.
The same principle applies to taking them apart.
The correct pressure point is visually marked on the tire. The individual parts can be stowed away in the original box for transportation and storage.
With a weight of 1, 1.2 or 1.5 kg and a diameter of up to 100 cm, this hula hoop is ideal for beginners. However, using only 6 segments makes the hoop a little more difficult to assemble.
The weight of the hula hoop is appropriate and ensures good balance and control during training. It enables effective training without the hoop being too heavy or too light. This contributes to a pleasant and efficient training experience.
The huller feeling is pleasant, which is due to the weight, size and foam. The tire moves smoothly and is forgiving of mistakes.

In our practical test, we were able to confirm the positive aspects, but recommend checking individual requirements with regard to weight.
