Packaging
The hula hoop from KIANA SPORTS arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the hula hoop was wrapped in plastic film. This type of packaging ensured that the product was optimally protected from external influences and shipped hygienically. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the sports equipment was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The product box contains a total of 8 segments that can be put together to form a hula hoop, a storage bag and an exercise and training plan. The assembly instructions are printed on a small card in German with pictures. On an A4 sheet you will find various exercises and a plan for the first 4 months. Firstly, the individual segments of the hula hoop must be joined together. Thanks to the precisely fitting one-click function , this is done in less than a minute. The pins of the individual components can be easily pressed in and snap into place once they have been put together. This ensures that the product remains stable and tear-proof . Even a “fall” onto the floor cannot damage the locking mechanism. The same principle applies to taking it apart, but here you have to feel where the respective button is located. The logo in the print area provides a clue. For transport or storage, the individual parts are stowed in the carrying bag supplied.
With a weight of 1.2 kg and a diameter of 100 cm, this hula hoop is ideal for beginners and advanced users of up to 80 kg. Hoops weighing 1.5 or 2 kg are also available. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not yet have any other variants in its range. The hooping sensation is pleasant, which is due to the weight, size and foam.
