The sandpaper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN made a very good impression in the test. The product can be used to sand old furniture, unfinished wood, metal and other materials. The sandpaper is cut in a round shape so that it can be easily attached to the random orbital sander using the attached Velcro fastening system . The sanding paper set consists of several sanding thicknesses and can therefore be used for coarse sanding and also for finer sanding work . The sanding discs have a diameter of 125 mm and are therefore suitable for all standard random orbital sanders.

The sandpaper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the stacked sandpaper without the use of plastic wrap. An instruction manual is included with the product and is printed on the box, which saves resources. No plastic was used in the packaging, which is also positive for recycling. In this case, the product was fully protected and the sandpaper was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the sandpaper is completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were 60 sandpaper discs on the workbench, which were available in 6 different grit sizes (10 per thickness).
Installation and use went without a hitch, as it is very intuitive and works in the same way for the standard sandpaper cuts. Unfortunately, the customer is not given a customer hotline to contact.
Nevertheless, customers can contact WERKSTEIN’s customer service via the e-mail address provided. This information is printed directly on the packaging and on the enclosed business card and can be easily seen by the customer. All in all, this is a very good way to send a product.

The sandpaper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN makes a very good visual impression in the test. In addition to the simple design, it has no processing defects. The sandpaper is equipped with a standard 8 holes and has a standard 125 mm diameter.
The product impresses with its relatively low weight and sturdy workmanship. The customer is supplied with sandpaper that can serve them well.

We really enjoyed using the sandpaper from WERKSTEIN during the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone thanks to the intuitive Velcro fastening.
In our test, the sanding paper was tested on a standard wooden panel with a normal random orbital sander.
The sanding discs are easy to attach to the machine and guarantee a secure hold thanks to the good Velcro system. Even under high loads, the sanding disc runs very smoothly and a good work result is possible for any layman if the sanding disc is used correctly.
The sanding paper is more than suitable for the needs of a DIY enthusiast.
It should be particularly emphasized that the sanding disc stays firmly in place and runs very smoothly during use.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. One criticism is that some of the sanding paper discs do not adhere completely to the random orbital sander. Many customers like the fact that the materials used are of high quality and that sanding is easy. We were also able to confirm these points in our practical test, but we think the grip is more than adequate and the quality is excellent in our opinion.
Prices of up to €28.38 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available for as little as €8.90. The sandpaper for the random orbital sander from WERKSTEIN is therefore in the middle price segment in our test with a price of €16.97. The price ratio is good for the quality and scope of performance you get.
