The andiamo rug was delivered rolled up in bubble wrap for our test, which is unfortunately not very sustainable. The product was received without damage on arrival and could be opened further with the help of a knife . The rug was also wrapped in plastic packaging to give it optimum protection. Although the rug is optimally protected, a lot of plastic waste is produced and there are more environmentally friendly alternatives. There was a large product label on the back of the rug with details of the color, size and material . Unfortunately, the manufacturer’s care instructions were not included. In summary, the product is undamaged and the packaging was in good condition.

The quality of the workmanship of the rug is very high. The rug is sturdy and made of hard-wearing polyethylene material, which is well stitched . The back of the rug has studs to make it non-slip . The manufacturer has not provided any information on sustainability. Polyester is not a sustainable material, but the product is robust and durable.
