The cloud throne from Hoxx made a very good impression in our test. In addition to the elegant yet simple design, the product impresses with its high-quality workmanship. We didn’t notice any sewing faults and the cushion cover material is elastic but still retains its shape. The memory foam inside adapts perfectly to the shape of the body, guaranteeing a comfortable fit. The velvety cushion cover and the nubs on the underside underline the manufacturer’s well thought-out concept. As a true all-rounder, the product is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces and can be cleaned in the washing machine if the cushion cover gets dirty. Only a selection of different degrees of hardness would be desirable.

Packaging
The cloud throne from Hoxx arrived for our test in the typical Amazon shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the cushion was wrapped in plastic film. This packaging method ensures that the product is optimally protected from external influences and shipped hygienically. This ensures that the product is fully protected and the cloud throne is delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled. Notwithstanding this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The cloud throne from Hoxx arrived hygienically packaged in plastic wrap. The correct handling (use, cleaning and safety instructions) was described on an information sheet in German . Contact information, including a telephone number and email address, can also be found on the enclosed sheet. All in all, this is a very good way to send a product.

First of all, it should be mentioned that the cloud throne makes a very good visual impression. We didn’t notice any sewing faults, the cushion cover material is elastic but still retains its shape. The product also impresses with its elegant yet simple design. Only when opening the zipper can some fabric occasionally be pulled into the closure if the zipper is opened too quickly.
There is no information about the sustainability of the product. However, the manufacturer promises extreme durability on its product page thanks to tried and tested LIFETIME materials. Furthermore, the seat cushion has been tested for durability and fatigue strength at the highest quality level (DIN EN ISO 9001) to prevent unintentional “flattening”.

Sitting on the Hoxx cloud throne allows the body to be positioned comfortably. The memory foam adapts perfectly to the shape of the body. The recess for the coccyx further increases comfort. The velvety cushion cover also improves well-being. The nubs on the underside prevent the product from slipping off the seat. It can also be used on various surfaces such as an office chair, in the car or on the floor. The cushion cover can be cleaned in the washing machine at 40° Celsius. After the first wash cycle, it still had its original shape and could be easily pulled over the inside.
In our test, two testers weighing around 60 and 90 kilos respectively sat on the cloud throne while working in the office. Both testers were able to confirm the comfortable sitting experience and significant relief for the back. However, a choice of different firmness levels would be desirable in order to be able to use the seat cushion more individually. Currently, customers can only choose between a grey (morning dew) and black (night sky ) color.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.7 stars. Some complain that the cloud throne is uncomfortable and hard. In contrast, other reviewers report a pleasant sitting experience and find the firmness level ideal. The high quality, appearance and workmanship are also praised. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the cloud throne provides noticeable relief for the back after a short time, making it easier to sit for long periods of time. We are also impressed by the quality and appearance of the product. However, we could also imagine different degrees of firmness for more individual use.
Prices of up to €70 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €8. The cloud throne from Hoxx is therefore in the middle price segment with a current price of €39.90. Consequently, the price ratio is good for the quality and scope of services you get.
