The Nordbär tent made a very good impression in our test. In addition to the appealing but simple design, the product impresses with its high-quality materials. With a weight of 2.8 kg, it is ultra-light and can be stowed compactly in the transport bag. It can be set up quickly and easily in less than 10 minutes. The tent offers enough space for two people. It is stable and robust, even in strong winds. The mesh fabric of the inner tent protects against insects and ensures optimum air circulation. All in all, the tent is a quality product that fulfils the user’s needs.

The Nordbär tent arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. This type of packaging provided the product with optimum protection from external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the tent was delivered in perfect condition . The packaging is also recyclable. In this respect, the product leaves a very good first impression.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the pack complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The shipping box contains an outer tent, a mesh tent, three transport bags (for tent, tent poles and pegs), tent poles, four tent pegs, four twisted pegs, six pegs, four guy ropes and a peg puller. The correct assembly is described on a leaflet in German with pictures. The contact details can be found on the outer packaging and on a label attached to the tent. However, there is no customer hotline. Nevertheless, this is a very good way to send a product.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

First of all, the tent makes a very good visual impression. The material is dimensionally stable and there are no visible seam defects. The product is made of Oxford 210D (tent), aluminium (pegs) and glass fibre reinforced plastic (tent poles), all of which are of very high quality and robust . The tent also impresses with its elegant yet simple design.
