The GRAFT portable gas cooker is the ideal companion for travel, camping or as a stove in an emergency in the event of a power failure. The portable gas cooker from GRAFT came in our case with other products in one matching shipping carton at. The shipping box was undamaged and easy to open without any additional tools. The portable gas cooker was in the shipping box along with the other products. The products were protected from slipping by paper filling material. The product protection was given in full in this case and the GRAFT portable gas cooker was therefore in perfect condition. The gas cooker was wrapped in plastic with an attractive paper sleeve. The plastic bag might not have been essential, but it keeps the set together and protects against dirt and scratches.
The packaging of the set is partially recyclable. The plastic bag is unfortunately not recyclable, but the boxes and the filling material are.
GRAFT's portable gas cooker, by and large, makes one very good impression. The gas cooker was not damaged and the package was in good condition.

In addition to the black CE-compliant gas cooker, the transport case also contains the matching silver one windshield, a coffee pot adapter and operating instructions. The package content is also printed on the banderole. Gas cartridges are not included, but can be ordered at an additional cost.

The portable gas stove from GRAFT is with its moderation 32 cm x 35 cm x 11 cm very compact and can therefore be stowed away optimally and to save space. A space-saving product is particularly important when camping. The gas cooker, including the transport case, has a very low total weight of 2,1 kg. The gas cooker itself weighs 1,4 kg. Despite its low overall weight, the gas cooker very stable and processed with high quality.
In this portable gas cooker from GRAFT, a gas cartridge be used, alternatively the gas cooker is connected to a gas bottle connected. Thus, the user can decide individually depending on availability.
The hob is suitable for pans and pots up to 26 cm in diameter. Without a coffee pot adapter, the cooking utensils must have a minimum diameter of 15 cm. With the adapter mentioned above, a diameter of 5 cm is sufficient.

In our test we use the gas cooker with a gas cartridge. The Build up and preparing the portable gas cooker is very quick. Only the draft shield has to be put together from the four individual parts and the hob placed on top. The gas cartridge must then be inserted. The GRAFT gas cooker may only be operated with an MSF-1a butane cartridge. Inserting the gas cartridge is explained in the user manual, which is quick and easy succeed.
Once the gas cartridge is inserted, you can start cooking. The built in piezo ignition is operated by turning the knob all the way up. Even if several attempts are sometimes necessary with a cold device before the gas ignites, the ignition succeeds reliably and quickly.
The Flame of the gas cooker is ring-shaped and very even. The color of the flame is blue, no soot formation can be seen. At the beginning of use, the gas cooker makes an audible noise Crackle noticeable. This stops after about a minute and only a quiet, steady hissing can be heard. In our test, the gas cooker only needs three and a half minutes to boil a small pot with half a liter of cold water Cooking bring to. With a Heating capacity of a maximum of 2,2 kW, large quantities can also be heated quickly. The heating output can also be reduced using the rotary control.
After use show up no traces of soot on the bottom of the pot. The metal of the gas cooker is still hot, but cools down quickly.
