Overall, the Bokman charging cable offers a convincing performance, but greater compatibility would have been desirable.

It is supplied in a cardboard box that corresponds to the size of the coiled cable. When unpacking, the cable is very easy to remove thanks to the reusable storage bag. The user manual is well written and is available in German and four other languages to ensure user-friendly handling. The charging cable is protected by plastic film.
The contents of the packaging are complete and in perfect condition. The perfectly fitting packaging once again emphasises the high quality of the product.

The charging cable impresses at first glance with its sturdy workmanship. The plugs with cap protection give it a very high-quality appearance. The product has no chemical odours or similar. Overall, it makes a very stable impression. The supplied storage bag is ideal for transporting the charging cable in the car to save space. Despite the lack of information on the sustainability of the product, it is clear that high-quality materials were used in its manufacture.

The practical test of the type 2 charging cable from bokman confirmed the high quality and reliability of the product. The connections were firmly seated without any movement or loosening. After visual and manual testing, all connections were absolutely secure. The actual length of the cable corresponded exactly to the manufacturer’s specifications, with a total of five different lengths to choose from.
Plugging and unplugging was also effortless and without resistance, which clearly emphasises the user-friendliness. The temperature development during operation remained constant and safely below 40°C, which indicates excellent heat dissipation. The water resistance was particularly noteworthy: no water penetrated the inside of the cable, meaning that the electrical connection and function remained fully intact . One downer, however, is the limited compatibility with some vehicles, such as Tesla, which should be taken into account when making a purchase decision.
The type 2 charging cable from bokman impresses with its quality and performance, but shows weaknesses in terms of compatibility.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the type 2 charging cable from bokman with an average of 4.8 stars.
