The Tyreses LED ceiling light is designed for lighting living and sleeping areas and combines a main light with a separate amber night light at 1,800 K. According to the manufacturer, the color temperature of the main light can be adjusted between 3,000 K and 6,500 K, offering a range of light colors from warm white to cool white.
According to the product specifications, the ceiling light has a power rating of 24 watts and achieves a brightness of up to 2,800 lumens. The manufacturer recommends it for rooms ranging in size from 9 to 25 m². In addition to adjusting color temperature and brightness, a timer and memory function are available. The light is controlled, among other ways, via the included remote control.
In our hands-on test, we focused in particular on the light distribution, dimming function, various color temperatures, and operation via remote control. The brightness could be adjusted smoothly, and the different lighting modes were easy to select. The separate night light provided a significantly warmer light color than the main light.
During the test, the remote control’s functions responded almost immediately. However, a slight delay in response was noticeable with one button. A minor delay was also observed at a distance of about five meters.
The even light distribution, the step-by-step adjustment of the lighting, and the various setting options were particularly impressive. One minor criticism was the occasional delay when operating the unit via the remote control.

The Tyreses LED ceiling light was delivered in a sturdy cardboard box. The individual components were neatly arranged inside and, in some cases, additionally protected by plastic film. Upon unpacking, no visible transport-related damage or scratches were found on the product.
The amount of packaging material used was reasonable. However, the plastic wrap results in additional plastic waste. Packaging with less plastic would be preferable here.
The package contents were complete and included all the components needed for the intended installation. An instruction manual was also included. The individual steps were clearly laid out and described in an easy-to-understand manner, making it easy to follow the basic process of installation and setup.

At first glance, the simple and modern design of the Tyreses ceiling light stands out. The design is understated and features no conspicuous decorative elements. According to the product information, the light is also available in various finishes.
Upon closer inspection, the housing appeared to be well-crafted and sturdy. The individual components were precisely fitted together. No noticeable gaps, loose parts, or other apparent manufacturing defects were found. When handled, the construction proved to be stable and showed no noticeable deformation.
The manufacturer does not provide specific details regarding the sustainability of the manufacturing process or the origin of the materials used. Further information on these points would be desirable.

In practical testing, the key functions of the Tyreses LED ceiling light were evaluated. Control via the remote worked for the most part without any noticeable delay across the tested settings. Only a single button exhibited an occasional slight delay in response.
The dimming function worked without any problems over several test runs. Whether increasing or decreasing the brightness, the light responded immediately to the inputs, and the brightness could be adjusted smoothly. The various brightness levels were clearly distinguishable from one another.
When testing the remote control from various distances, the functions could also be executed. Control remained possible up to a tested distance of five meters. At this maximum tested distance, a slight delay in response was observed, though this did not significantly impair operation.
The light distribution appeared uniform during the practical test. No noticeable differences in brightness within the illuminated area were observed during the visual inspection.
