We tested the umbrella from Wilford & Sonsas the ideal companion for rainy days. With its classic design, innovative features and compact size, this premium umbrella is not only practical, but also a stylish accessory. The fully automatic pocket umbrella has an ergonomic, non-slip handle that ensures a secure grip. Thanks to the new double-ventilated design, the wind is intelligently directed through the umbrella openings, allowing the umbrella to withstand strong gusts without folding over. The 9 robust aluminum struts also ensure that the frame withstands the wind without breaking. One point of criticism of the umbrella, however, is the superfluous and not environmentally friendly plastic packaging.

The umbrella from Wilford & Sons was delivered in a neutral shipping box for our product test. The box was in perfect condition and could be opened easily without tools. Inside the box, the product was wrapped in plastic foil, while the handle was wrapped in bubble wrap. As the umbrella is already supplied with an umbrella bag , the use of additional plastic film seemed superfluous.
Both the product and the umbrella bag were in perfect condition. In addition, the packaging contained a small instruction manual in several languages with explanatory pictures, which was sufficient for using the product. A nice touch was the enclosed note from the manufacturer encouraging customers to contact customer support in case of dissatisfaction.

The workmanship of the umbrella is also very good, the seams are neatly finished and high-quality materials have been used. The frame construction of the umbrella is extremely stable, as is the handle with the automatic button, which is robust and of high quality.
