The VALE V12X LTE tablet with a 12.6″ OLED display is a modern Android tablet designed for users who want to combine a large, high-quality display with mobile connectivity (LTE). Equipped with an octa-core processor (Unisoc T616), 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage, it promises smooth operation and sufficient capacity for apps, media, and more. It features an elegant metal back, slim design, and modern Android 15, which even supports the Gemini AI assistant.
Its strengths in the test include the brilliant OLED display, LTE support (SIM slot), and solid hardware configuration. The slim case and high-quality workmanship are also positive features.
One disadvantage we see in the test is that only one version with 128 GB of internal storage is currently available. Although this can be expanded via micro SD card, another version with larger storage would be desirable in this day and age.

When unpacking the VALE V12X LTE tablet, its elegant and high-quality appearance immediately catches the eye. The device feels sturdy and well-made. The surfaces are pleasant to the touch, and the metal back gives it a solid feel. The screen is well packaged, with no visible bubbles or defects. The package includes the tablet itself, a USB-C charging cable and power adapter, a multilingual manual, a stylus, and a case for the tablet. Unfortunately, plastic film was used in the packaging, which could be improved from a sustainability perspective. However, from a purely packaging perspective, the device makes a good and functional impression. Overall, the first impression is of a high-quality, professional, and ready-to-use tablet that can be started right away – provided there are no defects in the accessories or packaging.

The VALE V12X LTE tablet impresses with its elegant and clean design. The OLED display with narrow bezels creates a modern look, and the metal back cover looks classy and robust. The edges are cleanly finished and the transitions are smooth. In terms of build quality, the device shows no visible gaps, loose components, or uneven surfaces. The case hardly gives way under pressure, and there are no creaking noises. The buttons (power, volume) feel solid, with a good pressure point and no play. In terms of sustainability, it would be interesting to know whether recyclable materials were used or whether the manufacturer communicates environmental protection measures. However, as long as the case is solid and durable, this contributes to sustainability.

In practical testing, key criteria that are important for a tablet were examined. Performance in everyday applications (apps, multitasking, browsing) was consistently smooth. The system responded quickly. Apps started without noticeable delay. Even simple games ran smoothly. The OLED display delivered brilliant colors, high contrast, and good brightness even in direct light. Image content appeared sharp and vivid. The touchscreen also responded well. The tablet showed solid battery life: with moderate use (surfing, streaming, apps), it lasted about a day before needing to be recharged. The tablet also impressed in terms of connectivity, with a reliable and fast Wi-Fi connection.
