The VALENESS® music box machine is a modern fitness device that combines punch training with music, Bluetooth functionality and LED light effects. It is suitable for both children and adults. Particularly noteworthy is the simple and flexible assembly with three different mounting options, including two drill-free variants. The difficulty level can be adjusted using nine different speed settings. The integrated counter function allows you to track your training progress. The complete accessory set includes boxing gloves, tape, a USB-C charging cable and mounting materials, so the product is ready to use right out of the box.
There is room for improvement in terms of musical synchronisation: the LED lights do not respond to the beat of the music being played. In addition, the boxing gloves supplied are functional but of only basic quality.

The VALENESS® music box machine was delivered in outer packaging, which is not included in the product protection assessment. The product arrived undamaged and without defects . One negative point is the use of several plastic films in which both individual parts and documentation were packaged.
The scope of delivery is impressive: in addition to the boxing machine itself, the package includes boxing gloves for adults and children, boxing bandages, a USB-C charging cable and materials for three different mounting options (adhesive pads, Velcro system, screws with dowels). The operating instructions are generally easy to understand, but misleading when it comes to the Velcro system. This is incorrectly described as double-sided adhesive tape. Nevertheless, assembly is easy to carry out.
Overall, the packaging and accessories make a positive impression, with points deducted for the use of plastic.

The jukebox gives a simple, functional impression and fits well into a wide variety of environments. The music box machine itself is well made. No visible defects or noticeable material faults were found during testing. The boxing gloves , on the other hand, appear to be more simply made and are made of lower quality material. However, they are perfectly adequate for their intended use, especially for beginners and children.
The stability of the boxing machine impressed in the test: even with intense punches, the device and mount remained stable. The striking surface made of highly elastic PU material offers good rebound and protects the joints. The device is not really suitable for repair or recycling.
Overall, the boxing machine gives a high-quality impression – with some reservations regarding sustainability.

The VALENESS® music box machine impressed in several areas in practical testing. It is easy to operate and assemble, has a long battery life, a strong Bluetooth connection and good sound quality.
The three mounting options offer flexibility. The Velcro mounting is particularly practical, as it allows for some height adjustment. However, the screw mounting showed a slight wobble, which is due to the height difference of the mounting rail and could be compensated for with felt pads, for example. Removing the adhesive mount may damage wallpaper or leave adhesive residue, which could be problematic in rented accommodation, for example.
The controls are intuitive: two buttons on the display (Gear and Shift) allow you to switch between speed settings and display options(strokes, calories, time). The power button, volume control and USB-C port for charging are located on the side. The battery life is long, allowing for extended training sessions.
If you don’t use the Bluetooth function to play your own music, the music box machine plays music with acoustic commentary on the beats: a beating sound is heard when you hit the beat, and an“oh oh” soundis heard when you miss. This commentary function is not available when playing your own music.
One criticism is that the lighting does not react in time with the music, which limits the musical and rhythmic training. You can only adjust the speed to keep in time with the music.
Nevertheless, the device offers a motivating training experience with a clear progress display.
